   We were celebrating a special birthday, we’re 5 people , and I was bringing 4 people who had never been to bustan before. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so beautiful and warm and cozy, it we were seated on the outside covered back patio. We were so cold and there was none of the warm atmosphere of the restaurant inside. Not so festive for a special occasion.

   We had a great meal and experience at Bustan from the moment we were greeted. We were seated at a great table in the window and the dishes were all enticingly and accurately described to our party. The smoked eggplant was incredible. The breads were warm and delicious. The lamb kebab served under a baked bread dome was also exquisite. We ended the meal with dessert which included ice cream covered in halvah which was unique. All of the dishes were shareable which allowed us to try a lot of the small plates. Prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the food and the service. I highly recommend Bustan!

   Bustan is one of our favorite restaurants on the Upper West Side- always a pleasure. Food is fresh , delicious and well executed. The service is great and the space is comfortable, and designed .

   Everything we had was really outstanding. Ambiance is lovely, quiet, nicely dim, cool things on the walls!

   I’ve been here a few times and enjoyed it! I think it’s a bit pricey for the items but the vibe is fun and feels nice for a night out. My only complaint is that a sweet potato costs $12. I thought this dish would be more elaborate but it was literally a baked sweet potato with a little everything bagel seasoning and some cream on the side. I don’t understand how any human would think that this should be $12. It cost more than the dips!

   Fantastic Mediterranean share style place! Excellent options for multiple dietary eaters, food comes out fast and fresh. Always a great time, ideal for groups 2-8, larger than that it gets a bit hard to hear folks

   We enjoyed our meal very much. Everything we had was well prepared and flavorful. The owner came by and was very welcoming and friendly. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in the city.
