Please join us for dinner at our new Buvette du Marais wine bar, now
serving at the Marin Country Mart on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
nights from 5 to 9 pm. We are delighted to bring the flavors of
California and France together in Chef Kosta's kitchen. Everything on
his menu is absolutely delicious and well executed. The flavors are
bright and the ingredients market fresh, classic French dishes made
local and organic — crab croquettes, rillettes de saumon, salade
d’endives, pommes purée made the traditional way with crème fraîche,
filet mignon, market fish au feu de bois, soupe à l'oignon, house made
pastas, and more. One of our favorite dishes is a vegetarian hachis
parmentier made with mushrooms, the perfect seasonal meal that can be
enjoyed with a courgette marinated zucchini starter and a lovely
bottle of Chateau Neuf du Pape. The magic of the night at the Mart
creates a Parisian setting in this gem of a bistro with great wine
selections from France and beyond.

                                      We ended up at the Bistro as Buvette ended up being closed the night of our reservation, but enjoyed the experience. The escargot is not to be missed, and the trout was incredible. The ambiance is also great and really feels like you've been transported to Paris. Big fan of all of the Le Marais family spots.

                                      First, when we got there, I had a reservation and they wanted to put us at the bar and I prefer to tableside to wait 10 minutes. We placed our order and everything came at once how we like it except for one order that we placed it took 20 minutes for that order to arrive Some of the things were OK in the wine was good and I really wanted to like this restaurant and then I saw a mouse run across the floor that did it for me. I’ve tried three times to eat here I finally did, and the mouse blew it for me.

                                      Very french. Feel like you’re in Paris. Limited menu but we both enjoyed what we had. Helpful wait staff. When we first arrived the music made it hard to hear each other and we are both slightly hard of hearing. We asked them if they could lower the music and they turned it off. So appreciated!

                                      Limited menu and wine list at dinner. Service is freindly and welcoming but the restaurant is understaffed and the kitchen is very slow. The food is very expensive for its quality and by 7pm they were already down to one serving available of a popular first course. It is a cramped space much as it would be if it were one of many bistros in Paris. We would return but see it as likely a better lunch than dinner alternative.
