Cafe de France in Dallas is a family-owned French American restaurant opened in 1982 that offers affordable exquisite Entrees in an stylish atmosphere, delicious cuisine, and great Service. Guests can begin their meals at Cafe de France with escargot served with garlic butter, shrimp cocktail or Vol Au Vent with mushrooms and onions and served in a creamy Chicken Mushroom Champagne Sauce Other starters include quiche, soups and salads.

The entrees at Cafe de France include Steak Au Poivre, New Zealand Rack of Lamb, Butcher Block Split Double Cut Pork Chop , Veal Madagascar, fruit de mer, Chicken Saint Etienne and selections of crepes and pasta dishes and many more Mouth Watering entrees. In addition to the dessert of the day, guests can also finish off their meals with sacher torte, hazelnut cake, a variety of classic cakes, Dessert Crepes or cream brulee.

Restaurant was closed at 5:30 pm, A pleasant young came outside & told my party they had no reservation for me and they were closed. Open Table format does not give me a chance to shortcut their review questions and simply state I had no chance to judge anything under the newish owners. I DO recommend Open Table resolve the question over Cafe De France's real hours of operation. Or wherever the breakdown was. Have enjoyed going here many times in the past, so my inclination is to point to Open Table. Mary, Dallas TX.

Lovely little French bistro with excellent food and good prices. There is something for everyone. Drink prices are also very reasonable. Desserts were tasty. Highly recommend for a change of pace!

The breakfast options at Cafe De France are excellent. There is a mix of traditional and then French-oriented. All are reasonably priced, and the service has been outstanding every time. It's well worth going.

We always enjoy Cafe de France but this meal was disappointing. I had the salad sampler and the tuna salad was terrible....straight from a ready made container. Service was very good, though it was the second time I've made a reservation on Open Table and they fail to check me in.
