Cafe Murano Bermondsey is the latest in our small group of quality neighbourhood Italian restaurants. This new site feels very different to St James and Covent Garden – we like to play with the design of each site! An open kitchen is front and centre, with dining counters overlooking the bar, kitchen and Bermondsey St itself. The menu is unique to Bermondsey. There are new dishes of course, plus the classics such as Chicken Milanese and the Osso Bucco Risotto.
Our 100% Italian wine list as ever focuses on smaller quality focused winemakers and along side the regular wine list is a small frequently changing list of great wines only available in limited quantities.

Good, hearty and tasty Italian fare ! Great wait staff and an overall very enjoyable place to take a moment, savour and catch up with friends.

I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant which is in easy reach of London Bridge and the City of London. Innovative menu with some good wine and cocktail choices . The salt cod fritters and Osso Buco were excellent and Cafe Murano Bermondsey is now on my my regular restaurant list.

My second visit to Cafe Murano in Bermondsey. I will be eating at Cafe Murano more often because the food was great, especially the Salt Cod Fritters and the OssoBuco accompanied my a really good bottle of Sangiovese wine. Also importantly the welcome was warm and the service friendly helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this restaurant which is only a stone's throw from London Bridge.

First visit to Cafe Murano in Bermondsey Street and it won't be the last. Friendly welcome on arrival, very good service and above all great food. The Osso Buco and Salt Cod Fritters were excellent as was the recommended Sangiovese Wine.

Great food prepared fresh and authentic. There was an mix up with OpenTable allowing bookings after the kitchen had closed but they allowed us in and reopened the kitchen which was brilliant service and it was well worth it. It’s worth the trip for the tiramisu.

The food was good, the portions of the hors d' small, the 'primi piatti' good and very generous, and the citrus fruit sorbets were delicious on a hot day. Service was a bit slow, but otherwise good. We booked for a late lunch, and the noise level would've been very high if we'd been in earlier.
