Toen we aankwamen op het uur van onze reservatie werd ons verteld dat onze tafel nog niet klaar was waarna we nog een half uur gewacht hebben op die tafel. Toen we eindelijk neerzaten was het enorm luid door zowel de muziek als het volume van de mensen. Verder was het ook extreem donker, je kon de menukaart bijna niet lezen. Het eten was zeer duur en verder ook nog eens koud en niet eens bijzonder lekker. De pizza was ook aangebrand aan de onderkant zodat dat het enige is wat je smaakte. Ook was de ober niet verstaanbaar boven het lawaai en liep hij rond alsof hij niet wist wat hij eerst moest doen terwijl wij een kwartier moesten wachten eer hij onze bankkaart gevalideerd had. Dit was een van de slechtste restaurants die we al meegemaakt hebben en zeker niet aan te raden. Wel een leuk interieur.

I’m not one to ever write reviews especially because Cala is one of my favorite restaurants, but the service was very disappointing this trip, waitress was slow and took forever to address us or take orders, didn’t refill water unless we tracked her down, nor did she ask if we ever wanted refills on our drinks. Vodka pasta was way spicier than usual and had about three small pieces of sausage even though it was an up charge. Overall very disappointing experience for a restaurant I like to frequent.

Service was terrible. Front of house manager should be fired immediately. This place has so much potential but the customer experience is severely lacking.

I booked a reservation here for my birthday, in hopes of good food, fun environment, and high end service. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this restaurant, and to be completely honest the food was extremely mid. I ordered the vodka pasta and the noodles were undercooked and hard, on top of that I got around 12 noodles in total on my plate that cost 30$… I have had way better food for half the price. Not only was the food mid but the drinks were even worse. Half way into dinner, there was a loud commotion and a fight broke out right behind our table. Overall for the amount of money spent on this entire dinner it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in awhile.

Everything was phenomenal at Cala! We sat at the bar and the service and food were both perfect. My mom and I split the Flaming Saganaki, Bucatini Wagyu Bolognese and the Moroccan Chicken. Presentation was beautiful.

The Cala experience was disappointing. After booking the reservation in advance of holiday travel for a late evening Christmas dinner, we arrived to a restaurant that was ill-prepared for the holiday service. While the staff was courteous and apologetic, we were not served food as we were informed the kitchen was closed because it was backed up from an unexpected influx of diners. Staffing shortage likely contributed to the matter as well. It was disappointing to learn that rather than account for booked reservations, management accommodated walk-ins, overwhelming staff and the kitchen. We received a call notification about 10 minutes ahead of our dining time, but even that was a little too late as most other restaurants were closing or closed. We received two complimentary drinks which were nice and gave us time to locate another option, the local Denny's, which turned out to be the only available option.

Cala had a good atmosphere upon entering. nice decor but the music was more like a nightclub than an upscale restaurant. We quickly found out they were understaffed and overbooked for our reservation. In all fairness it was Christmas, but it took two hours to receive our pasta dishes and salad. The food was just ok and the drinks were just ok as well. We won’t be going back.

The food was great when it finally arrived. The kitchen was backed up and there was a long wait. It was Christmas and I’m sure they were short handed in the kitchen. The restaurant comped us the food for the inconvenience so we will definitely return.

They had a rough night on Christmas Day. I think the kitchen got behind from the jump. But you know what? They did the best they could with what they had. They comped our drinks and starters because of the delay, and communicated they were behind (although they mentioned it would be half an hour and I think we got our food around the 50-60 minute mark). However, it wasn’t our servers fault. Probably a series of unfortunate events of people showing up late, staying long, and the kitchen missing a couple tickets. They were working on Christmas so me and my family didn’t have to cook. The food was still fantastic when it arrived and they did what they could to make it right. I would eat here again absolutely

We went in Christmas and it seemed that the kitchen staff was a bit behind and it took over an hour for our food to come. But we felt for the guys/ girls back there. They were one of the few places open on Xmas and seemed to have gotten slammed. I’d imagine staffing was a little rough too given that it was Christmas. Our waitress was attentive and kept checking in to update us, which we appreciated. The manager was very gracious. They handled a really rough night with hospitality and grace.
