Toen we aankwamen op het uur van onze reservatie werd ons verteld dat onze tafel nog niet klaar was waarna we nog een half uur gewacht hebben op die tafel. Toen we eindelijk neerzaten was het enorm luid door zowel de muziek als het volume van de mensen. Verder was het ook extreem donker, je kon de menukaart bijna niet lezen. Het eten was zeer duur en verder ook nog eens koud en niet eens bijzonder lekker. De pizza was ook aangebrand aan de onderkant zodat dat het enige is wat je smaakte. Ook was de ober niet verstaanbaar boven het lawaai en liep hij rond alsof hij niet wist wat hij eerst moest doen terwijl wij een kwartier moesten wachten eer hij onze bankkaart gevalideerd had. Dit was een van de slechtste restaurants die we al meegemaakt hebben en zeker niet aan te raden. Wel een leuk interieur.

Service was terrible. Front of house manager should be fired immediately. This place has so much potential but the customer experience is severely lacking.

Everything was phenomenal at Cala! We sat at the bar and the service and food were both perfect. My mom and I split the Flaming Saganaki, Bucatini Wagyu Bolognese and the Moroccan Chicken. Presentation was beautiful.

Cala had a good atmosphere upon entering. nice decor but the music was more like a nightclub than an upscale restaurant. We quickly found out they were understaffed and overbooked for our reservation. In all fairness it was Christmas, but it took two hours to receive our pasta dishes and salad. The food was just ok and the drinks were just ok as well. We won’t be going back.

The food was great when it finally arrived. The kitchen was backed up and there was a long wait. It was Christmas and I’m sure they were short handed in the kitchen. The restaurant comped us the food for the inconvenience so we will definitely return.

They had a rough night on Christmas Day. I think the kitchen got behind from the jump. But you know what? They did the best they could with what they had. They comped our drinks and starters because of the delay, and communicated they were behind (although they mentioned it would be half an hour and I think we got our food around the 50-60 minute mark). However, it wasn’t our servers fault. Probably a series of unfortunate events of people showing up late, staying long, and the kitchen missing a couple tickets. They were working on Christmas so me and my family didn’t have to cook. The food was still fantastic when it arrived and they did what they could to make it right. I would eat here again absolutely

We went in Christmas and it seemed that the kitchen staff was a bit behind and it took over an hour for our food to come. But we felt for the guys/ girls back there. They were one of the few places open on Xmas and seemed to have gotten slammed. I’d imagine staffing was a little rough too given that it was Christmas. Our waitress was attentive and kept checking in to update us, which we appreciated. The manager was very gracious. They handled a really rough night with hospitality and grace.

Had a wonderful time. Sat by fireplace which was perfect since a chilly day and too open air. Food great. Lobster soup great but a tad salty. Excellent ambiance. All staff exceptional including management

Amazing food, service and ambience. Our server was incredibly kind and timely, and the vibe was great with music that really fit the setting and was just the right volume. The ricotta and the pork burrito were to die for. Great Christmas dinner!
