Toen we aankwamen op het uur van onze reservatie werd ons verteld dat onze tafel nog niet klaar was waarna we nog een half uur gewacht hebben op die tafel. Toen we eindelijk neerzaten was het enorm luid door zowel de muziek als het volume van de mensen. Verder was het ook extreem donker, je kon de menukaart bijna niet lezen. Het eten was zeer duur en verder ook nog eens koud en niet eens bijzonder lekker. De pizza was ook aangebrand aan de onderkant zodat dat het enige is wat je smaakte. Ook was de ober niet verstaanbaar boven het lawaai en liep hij rond alsof hij niet wist wat hij eerst moest doen terwijl wij een kwartier moesten wachten eer hij onze bankkaart gevalideerd had. Dit was een van de slechtste restaurants die we al meegemaakt hebben en zeker niet aan te raden. Wel een leuk interieur.

Music too loud had to scream, server took Forever on everything. It was my birthday and she only checked on everyone else on the table except me. Hostess told us our table “was outside on the left” except when approaching the table everyone said they were walked to their table but we weren’t walked. I never ate any of my food only for the server to ask how the other side of the table was doing the whole time. It took forever to get one extra chair at our table for 9 ppl even when I called 2 hrs ahead to correct to 9 people instead of 8 for one extra chair. We had to wait and stand while everyone was there at the table for the chair I called 2 hrs ahead for. Horrible service, hostess don’t listen, server was slow and petty, kitchen was hit or miss depending on what you order. Pasta was hard no one at the table could chew it and everyone’s food was cold.

We booked an indoor table and when they sat us, the table was outside by busy road. When I told the receptionist that I had booked inside, she said “ well, when you book on OpenTable, it doesn’t show us if you want inside or outside.” of course, they could not accommodate us with what we had booked. Very disappointing since this time of season is so busy everywhere else. I would never recommend this restaurant.

when we arrived at 4:30, we were not aware of menu change at 5 pm, but kitchen was very agreeable so we ordered a cheese board to eat while we waited for menu change at 5 pm. My salmon and husband’s pork cutlet were perfect. very considerate! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful place but on a Sunday mid day the place was empty. It seemed there was only one person waiting on people but yet others doing other things (I.e delivering ordered food). Hostess was great, our waitress seemed to be covering the entire restaurant but not quite sure why we had to ask for refills on iced tea and coke or even water. We ordered the $25 board which was chefs selection of meats, cheeses, almonds, grapes, pickles. This board needs some bread or crackers. Limited brunch menu and no you can’t order off a regular menu. Friend ordered the huevos rancheros (she was not thrilled with it). I ordered a salad with two large shrimp. It was fine but not sure it was worth $28. $18 for the salad, $10 for Shrimp. Again the interior is beautiful but frankly with so many options in Scottsdale I won’t for brunch. Need to see if it is worth trying on a regular menu.

My wife’s order was put into the system, yet came out 40 minutes after I got my entree. No visit from management. Our server did go and get her entree taken off the bill, which was nice. But the enjoyment of having dinner together was not there. I’d say this was an incidental situation, however the table beside us also had an issue with the food being delivered correctly. Really good food, but the service level, and managements complete lack of presence were disappointing.

I had a MARVELOUS time dining with Cala. The drinks were out of this world, my favorite was the cocktail MANGO AMOR!! Highly recommended!!! Staff were super duper friendly which made my experience so freaking amazing!!!!! A++ The valet guy Cole was nice as well and did I forget this place is aesthetically pleasing!!! Thanks again!
