   Lovely time spent here on 14th March reminiscing of the time it was our A&E. Staff very attentive. Have booked again.

   Canopy is a lovely restaurant with comfortable seating and friendly, welcoming staff. Our waiter, Andrew, was very helpful and attentive, giving us time to select from the menu and kept our table topped up with water. I ordered the tikka salad with coley which was beautifully presented and delicious. My friend enjoyed her burger. We finished with coffee which was also perfect. Service was excellent and we wished to leave a tip but unfortunately tips can not be paid by debit/credit card and neither of us carry cash. We hope the management team are able to rectify this soon.

   Food delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient. Lovely atmosphere. Set in old Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, now Futures Institute and owned by Edinburgh University ,this is a lovely place for a relaxing brunch. The prices are very good and are no more expensive than similar restaurants/cafes. We will certainly be back and it will probably become a favourite place to go.

   Voting for exceptional is counter intuitive but the whole exerience is VG Plus. The designers have made the most of the space, its high ceiling and tall windows. A gem in a city scape.

    Had smashed avocado with salsa for brunch and only thing that spoiled it was that the toast was burnt in places and especially around the edges. The salsa was very tasty though. My friend had the full breakfast which was good value for the price. An orange juice, a coffea and a berry burst tea rounded things off nicely. The brunch menu could do with a few more veggie things as if you don't care for eggs like me then its limited. Nice surroundings and good cheerful service.
