   Capers & Lemons remains a fantastic spot for Italian dining in Wilmington, DE. On Memorial Day, despite the restaurant appearing slightly understaffed, the team handled the situation with professionalism and grace. While there were some delays in service, it was completely understandable!! A huge shout-out to Lily, who was an excellent host and server. Her friendly and courteous demeanor made the experience enjoyable despite the busy evening. Her attentiveness and warm attitude truly stood out. It’s great to see that the restaurant has decided to refurbish the booths, and they look fantastic! This small but significant update adds to the overall ambiance, making the space even more inviting. As always, the drinks and food were exceptional. The staff at Capers & Lemons continue to impress with their friendly and professional service. Even on a hectic night, their dedication to ensuring guests have a great experience shines through. Definitely worth a visit for those looking for quality Italian cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere!

   Reservations for two on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. Arrived 15 minutes early and was seated right away. Was promptly greeted by waitress and given bread and olive oil for dipping. While simple it was amazingly delicious! Two apps ordered consisting of grilled artichokes and cheese sampler with charcuterie board. The artichokes were moist and smoky and delicious with grilled flavor. The cheese board was amazingly flavorful, with our pick of 3 cheeses from a list of 7, along with honeycomb, roasted almonds, a cranberry chutney, and toasted points. Two for two for great appetizers! I ordered the veal parmigiana with angel hair. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce had wilted fresh basil which was sweet and pungent! She ordered Romano crusted chicken parmigiana. She enjoyed it, but I thought my veal parm was better. The appetizers were marvelous . The service impeccable. The environment wasn’t very nice. We will definitely plan a return visit soon. Highly recommended.

   Food was great and Aspen, our waitress was the best, she was pleasant and friendly and just did a fantastic job. Her great smile and personality were icing on the cake!

   We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Capers & Lemons. While our reservation note about the birthday was unfortunately overlooked (along with a surprise $5/person fee) regarding bringing our own cake, the overall experience was wonderful, the food was delicious! Our waitress was incredibly nice. Also, I requested to change my meal and the manager was very accommodating once the issue was brought to their attention. We are locals and look forward to dining here again.

    C&L Braciole is a filled with spicy capicola, rustic tomato sauce, creamy polenta. It's my favorite and I look forward to getting it every time I come here. Top it off with Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta.
