Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too.
The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

We enjoyed our visit to Carlos @Buckle & Vaughan for Sunday lunch. We were greeted at the door and offered a nice table in the main restaurant at the front overlooking the Green. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was a good choice of roast chicken, pork belly, rib of beef, salmon, seabass or lamb cutlets. We chose the roast beef which was delicious. All the mains are served with roasted veg, Yorkshire Pudding and gravy. It was well presented and everything was very tasty. There is a wide range of dessert options - we went for homemade apple strudel/ice cream and pear tart/ice cream. Please note that the pear tart was not suitable for nut allergies due to the layer of frangipane (sweet almond-flavoured custard). We each had a glass of wine (Picpoul and Merlot) and then coffee. At around £100 for two including service, it was good value and we would recommend the restaurant.

My wife and had a 6.30 booking on Sat 04/01/25 and as it was early the restaurant was quiet but at about 7.30 it was getting to be fairly busy The food was excellent we had BRIE, LAMB CHOPS, SEA BASS all cooked to perfection and I can highly recommend it as probably the best restaurant covering Enfield Borough Top MARKS

We we visited on my wife’s birthday on the 23rd of December. The food was outstanding and the service provided by Elliot was first class. A very hospitable host who made the occasion very special thank you for nice afternoon.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Carlos @ B&V, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive, polite, and warm, making us feel welcomed and valued. This set the tone for a fantastic evening. We enjoyed a delightful three-course meal with a great variety of options. Each dish was well-portioned and delicious, leaving all eight of us with content bellies. The menu catered to diverse tastes, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. The meal was well-priced considering the high standard of both the food and service, complemented by an excellent wine selection. The dessert choices were the perfect finale to our dining experience. An unexpected highlight was the round-table magician, whose impressive tricks added a fun and unique touch to the evening. Carlos @ B&V is ideal for both group gatherings and romantic dinners, with an inviting and comfortable ambiance. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking great food, service, and entertainment!

We were welcomed and looked after throughout lunchtime by the staff, even though they were rushed off their feet catering for several large company groups having their Christmas lunches. Despite the large numbers, the food was superb. We have been to Carlos B&V several times in the past when staying locally to look after our grandchildren - it is a treat for all the family.
