Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. The restaurant is very lovely and decorated in a casual/classy way. But the noise level is very loud and there are a lot of rules to the food. Hard to make any changes, no substitutions and very hard to get exactly what you need. I told the waitress we don’t eat any cheese and to please bring bread without cheese which she did but then my food had cheese sprinkled on it which she didn’t tell them not to and then we had to wait 30 minutes for a new meal. The manager Lisa was there helping us and she was a doll! She gave us extra bread while we waited and kept informing us. It’s almost ready, but still very annoying. We were starving. The waitresses and waiters should really know everything that’s put in the food and at least take the customers request very seriously.! Unless I’m with a big crowd I don’t think I will go there again just the two of us! Even when I asked for a little bigger table, they made me wait outside for 5 to 10 minutes. They are not very flexible there even though they try to be very organized!

Laura our waitress was outstanding!!! We have been visiting Carmines in AC for years and we received the best service!! Thank you Laura! Everything was delicious from the Carmines salad, to chicken scarpiello wings, to veal parm, side of meatballs to the Titanic dessert off the charts!! We had it all!! Truly fabulous!!

Everything was delicious! The red sangria was the best I've ever had! The guys said their Woodford Old Fashions were very good as well. Everything we ate was delicious: stuffed mushrooms, calamari, eggplant parm, rigatoni bolognese and the steak (not sure what the name was - but it has peppers, onions, potatoes and sausage). The caprese salad could have had a bit more mozzarella and less greens. Not knowing the menus prices was a bit daunting. However had we known how much the steak was we would not have ordered it but it was one of the best dishes. Our server was so friendly and helpful. Make sure when you come you bring a lot of people - there's a lot of food!!!

This is always our go to place for a larger group. Table for 9. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Great service. We did not feel rushed at all. The food is amazing and just perfect when dining with a group. Reasonably priced and good quality.

The food came out hot and delicious. Service was great. Food came out a little bit fast though wasn’t finished with the salad in the main course was out already.
