   Love the atmosphere and service and food at Carson's of Andover. By far my favorite restaurant in Lexington.

   Upscale dining, good atmosphere for easy conversation. Menu same as Downtown Carson’s with a few upgrades. Steaks are main attraction, but something to cover all appetite requests and drink selection very good. Service was excellent. Easy access to the site with plenty of available parking. Overall, an excellent dining experience

   The ribs and shrimp were very good, the Old Fashion was great as usual, and the carrot cake was outstanding !

   Our server was excellent! He anticipated our every need. My husband ordered the filet. It was so tender, it could be cut by a fork! I ordered the Blackened Salmon Sandwich and added bacon to make it a Salmon BLT. I usually don’t finish any meals, but the sandwich was too delicious to leave behind! The only dish we didn’t care for was the Banana Bread Pudding. The sauce that was poured over the bread pudding was just too sweet.

   The service and food were good but very expensive. Maybe they could consider offering smaller portions and less cost.

   Overall, I’ll give this place another chance. I ordered steak and eggs, medium and scrambled. The steak came out raw and the eggs were cold and tasted like they’d been poured out of a carton…not fresh. They offered to redo the plate. The steak came out medium well with new eggs. I just counted my losses and ate it. The coffee was hot and fresh, and the biscuits were tasty. My husband got the fried chicken breakfast and said it was delicious. The eggs didn’t get eaten by either of us. Here’s something funny…the waitress offered to serve some strawberry preservatives for my biscuits. I asked if she meant preserves, which she did. It was yummy.

   The food and the service was top notch. It took quite a while to receive our food but it was a very busy Friday night. There was a party behind us that was really loud, but after their food came they calmed down! Our experience overall was good!

    Food was great. The drink service was slow. One our guests did not receive her drink until the entrees came. I also would not recommend the espresso martinis - made out of a syrup liqueur instead of true espresso. Atmosphere was great though.
