                                                                                                                  Our third time here. Food was amazing the first two times. A bit disappointed this third time with shrimp oreganato as the shrimp were undercooked. We sent back and returned still undercooked. Told waiter again but we decided not to send back a second time and I ate my meal. One of our guests brought her shrimp home and said she would cook more at home for the next day. Never offered if we wanted something else. It was our guest’s 96th birthday and told them how much they would enjoy. We also reserved round table by front door over a week in advance as one of our guests uses a walker and table was taken by another party. Hostess was very apologetic as she said she walked away before the other party sat down. She should have had them move to another table as soon as she saw them sit down. CASALINA should have“Reserved” table signs.

                                                                                                                  We had not been here since it changed hands. The improvements are a positive. The new owners have created a softer, pleasant dining environment creating a very nice ambiance on the patio and adding tablecloths and soft lighting throughout. The waitstaff is attentive and I noticed the food server was wearing white gloves; a nice touch. Everything was prepared well. We had an excellent ceasar salad, the bronzino and a delicious apple crisp for dessert. Bread service was very fresh and abundant unlike other restaurants who have done away with bread service or charge for it. The new owners have enhanced the restaurant and created a nice staple for the neighborhood and we will be back

                                                                                                                  My son is a police officer who had to work Thanksgiving day. We made an 8pm reservation so that we could share an unconventional Thanksgiving dinner with him and he wouldn’t have to eat alone. Everyone was so accommodating from the welcoming hostess to the very friendly and patient waiter to management that allowed us to close down the place with a late dessert. Food is amazing with a charming romantic atmosphere. I highly recommend this Delray Beach gem. Casalina made our small family dinner feel special!

Our waitress Emily was all over the place and in the end someone from the bar ended up helping us which was ok, but we had to wait a lot to order food, get beverage refills etc.

                                                                                                                  The bread was stale, the meatballs were mushy and the pizza was awful! We asked for it crispy and it was soft and flavorless. The beet salad was yummy but our server didn’t crack a smile until the end of the meal. Also, they make it difficult to make substitutions! Don’t need to ever go back.
