CASE Chocolates is the world's first chocolate and cocktail speakeasy. Our tasting experiences take you through fine and unique cacaos combined with high-end spirits and cocktails. Our space is meant to spark delight and joy, and we can't wait to welcome you in soon!

Our promise is a one-of-a-kind journey through chocolates in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Please arrive on time for the best experience. Plan ahead as parking is limited to a small lot and street parking. You must enter through Sampson St., Suite E. No-shows and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of $68 per person.

Each tasting comes with 3 cocktail and chocolate pairings. Tastings start at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays and are approximately 90 minutes per tasting.

Join us for a journey through fine cacao, wines, spirits, and more in our speakeasy location in East Downtown, Houston. Each tasting comes with cocktail pairings and lasts approximately 90 minutes.

First time at CASE Speak Easy and I will definitely go again. I was there with 6 other ladies celebrating a birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Our server, Mateo was excellent and fun. Michael is very knowledgeable and customer service focused.

Loved everything about it. If I had one take away it would be to avoid coating the chocolate with crystallized sugar since when you are eating it you feel the crystals.

One of the coolest things I have ever done in Houston!! We came here to celebrate my husband’s 40th (a big time chocolate lover) and he was extremely impressed. This says a lot because he is actually rather difficult to impress.

This was an awesome experience. The chocolates and the cocktails were so unique and delicious. Loved the explanations of all the chocolate and how they came up with the pairings!

A Night to Remember – Absolute Perfection! I cannot rave enough about our experience at this chocolate and cocktail tasting speakeasy. It was beyond anything I could have imagined! Each cocktail and chocolate pairing somehow managed to outdo the one before it, setting a new standard for excellence with every bite and sip. The flavors were thoughtfully curated, surprising, and indulgent in the best way. And our host? Michael, truly second to none—warm, knowledgeable, and made the evening feel intimate and exceptional. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is so impeccably executed. This was hands-down one of the best date night experiences we’ve ever had in Houston. My fiancé is still raving about it, and we’re already planning when we can come back. If you’re looking for something unique, black, upscale, and unforgettable, this is it.

We had a wonderful experience at Case Chocolates! The speakeasy is designed very elegantly and each cocktail was designed beautifully and tastes delicious, with the chocolate pairing! What a fun and memorable evening! Casey and his kind staff made us feel like royalty!!!
