In simply words…”European Quality” Food in Charlotte NC, bare none. Definitely will come back and recommend to everyone that wants real deal well made from scratch food.

We enjoyed the paella Del Mar, it was full of flavor. The steak lacked flavor in comparison. We really enjoyed the octopus and the potatoes. You need extra bread to sop up the sauce to make sure none of that deliciousness goes to waste.

Excellent place and I have been there for 4 times already. Noise level may be lower, bug it was not too bad. I will return soon

We enjoyed our dining experience at Catalú. The tomato sauce on the papas bravas way too spicy. We were too embarassed to tell the waiter. After we ate it, avoiding the tomato sauce, we told the waiter. He offered to bring us a new plate which we declined. The mushroom risotto was very good. All the dishes came out very hot. The flan was good, but the orange slices on top of the flan did not taste good.

All staff were friendly and welcoming. They were knowledgeable about the reservation and mentioned happy birthday before I stated it was my birthday! The manager offered everyone in my party a toast of cava for the occasion as well as a free dessert. I felt like they cared about my experience and it showed. The food was quite delicious and authentic to Spanish tapas and paella you would get at any street bar in Spain. Great service, great food, will be going back and telling friends about this awesome place!

Amazing customer service and the food was amazing! Deff recommend this restaurant. Our waiter Eric was super attentive and we even gave him a piece of the cake we were able to bring to the restaurant. Will be back again!
