A lavish European dining experience, serving some of Melbourne’s finest Italian cuisine. Designed as a sister restaurant to the original Cecconi’s in Flinders Lane, our second venue brings a touch of luxury, refinement and ‘buonissimo’ to Melbourne’s inner-east enclave.

Inspired by its heritage in Italy’s northern regions, and the masters of Italian design, our Toorak venue offers a modern evolution of classic European dining, with a strong Melbourne sensibility. A journey of intimate spaces, luxurious finishes, bespoke detailing and sculptural forms.

Cecconi’s Toorak adds a contemporary touch to Melbourne’s culinary landscape, whilst maintaining the high-end Italian hospitality that has made Cecconi’s a Melbourne dining institution for more than twenty years.

Cecconi's is reviving its famous La Famiglia Day Visit our new location in Toorak for an afternoon of Classic Italian Dishes served family style to share. Music played all day with a band who will be sure to have you dancing to Classic Italian tunes. Highly overrated and expensive. $17 for 1 tiny croquette left us speechless. My steak was super dry and more well done as opposed to a medium. For the price you'd expect Melbourne's best chef's to have this down. Ambience and venue is stunning however but that's about it.

I had an amazing time at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into the menu. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, offering helpful suggestions and making sure everything was just right. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I’ll definitely be returning for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal!

We dined at Cecconi’s to celebrate Valentines Day. A fine-dining price tag for a lacklustre experience. Service To the exception of Steve who was warm and friendly, service across the board was unwelcoming. We had to wait at reception for a few minutes until we were acknowledged, despite someone clocking in for their shift right in front of us. During service, we were never asked how we were enjoying our food or if there was anything else we needed. Additionally, couples who were seated after us received their mains before us. Food We enjoyed our entrees and mains but they did lack seasoning. Dessert was a bittersweet ending. The white chocolate sphere should never have been served. The lemon curd filling had split and curdled, resembling scrambled eggs. Also the pistachio praline was burnt and bitter, not to mention the thick sphere which was difficult to crack into. The pastry chef either knew there were issues and didn’t care, or requires further training. My white chocolate cheesecake was still frozen in the centre and lacked a distinct chocolate flavour. For a $150pp set menu, all three courses must be spot on. At the end of the evening, we had to walk to the front of the restaurant to settle the bill because the eftpos machines couldn’t be located. Luckily, Steve gave us a friendly farewell which helped compensate for the solum service we experienced throughout the night.

Compared to our previous visits the standard of the service was extremely patchy varying from very good to very ordinary. As this was a special occasion we were celebrating it was very disappointing. On the plus side of matters the food was superb as always.

Cecconis is one of my favorite Italian restaurants but my recent attendance the food just wasn’t on the mark. Lacked salt & flavor which is unfortunate. Hopefully my next visit is like my first. Service is always excellent

Elegant ambiance, great service, brilliant acoustics - felt quiet even though it was busy. We booked outside, but it was really hot on the west facing terrace and they were very accommodating, moving us inside where it was just gorgeous! Will definitely be back!

Could not fault this restaurant. Our first time there for hubbys birthday and it was amazing! From the elegant Fitout, knowledgeable our waiter was attentive and great recommendations. Great ambience and the food was next level, cocktails were on point too. Delicious and value for money.
