We had a reservation for a party of 8 initially, and when we got to the hostess, the hostess said we could not be sat until we had 80% of our party. Unfortunately, 3 people were unable to male it at the last minute, dropping our count to 5 people. At this time, we had 4 out of the 5 people in the lobby. I asked the hostess if we could be seated as we had 80% of our party, and she said no, we had to wait for the 5th person. I said that is not what you told us before. Then the hostess decided to take us to our table. Upon getting to our table, she proceeded to seat us a table for 4 and said she would move us to another table once the 5th person comes. I told the hostess that was not right when we had a reservation for more than 4 people, and there was a table for 5 right next to us. Finally, after asking to speak to the manager, she let us sit at the table for a party of 5. The server approached the table with an attitude. After we ordered drinks, she started to be nice. While eating, we asked the servers coming around with meat for meat buy were repeatedly ignored while they served other tables. We finally had enough and asked the server for the manager again. Finally, we hear the manager telling the servers to vote by our table to serve us meat. Unfortunately, by that time, we were no longer interested and feeling discriminated upon. The manager then offered me a drink and a desert as it was my birthday and he could see how disappointed I was. However, $20 for the drink and dessert did not compare or make it acceptable for the $400 we spent. As this restaurant was my selection of choice for my birthday, I felt bad that my friends spent a lot of money at this establishment to leave disappointed. This experience has left a bad taste in our mouths and will mostly not return to this establishment. I hope no one has to experience the disappointment like we did.
