    Food was good. Only compliant is the French Dip sandwich was mostly bread and minimal roast beef.

    The food was just not good, bread before the meal was the best part. My chicken tasted like a microwave dinner. My boyfriend’s prime rib was okay but not 55$ worthy. Service was slow, waitress brought out the wrong ticket. When we informed her she didn’t apologize, was very short. Overall wouldn’t go back.

    Hidden gem located outside of the casino. Better than Vic & Anthony's. Great for family dinners and special occasions. Our waiter was so patient and kind. I can't recall his name but he is an asset to the staff at Chart House.

    We think of chart house as one of the nicer restaurants at Golden Nugget. Not quite as nice as Vic and Anthony’s but usually nicer than the rest. Today was not their best day. We were there on Thanksgiving and my wife ordered the Thanksgiving special. I ordered prime rib. Well my dinner was actually good, other than the fact that my wedge salad could’ve used a bit more dressing, which I was able to get. Her dinner was a real mixed bag. Her turkey and stuffing were good, but her potatoes looked like something served up with an ice cream scoop and were cold and hard with a congealed sort of gravy over the top and her green beans weren’t cooked all the way. Coincidentally, those seated near us were told that they couldn’t be given the Thanksgiving special right away because there weren’t enough green beans cooked, and they had the choice of either taking the dinner without them or waiting for it. Those nearest to us decided to wait for it and even though they were only seated about 10 minutes after us, when we left the restaurant after finishing our entrée and dessert and paying our tab, they were still waiting for their entrée. It will be a while before we try the chart house again.

    Food was cold again! Other customers were also commenting on cold food! The Chart House - Lake Charles is small with 18 to 20 tables - no reason to serve cold food!! Also food over priced compared to other quality restaurants in the area.

    Everything about it was STELLAR! Prompt, courteous and very friendly waitstaff, fabulous drinks quickly served, positively delicious food. DEFINITELY will be repeat customers!

    The Thanksgiving meal was a joke! Took my family there for Thanksgiving and it was so disappointing. Will never go there again. I got two thin slices of turkey, 2 teaspoons of mashed potatoes and 2 teaspoons of dressing! Could do no substitutions! Never again!
