Che Fico, is a California Italian restaurant from Chefs David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer in San Francisco's NOPA neighborhood. The food focuses on Italian cuisine through the lens of California. It’s our vision of Northern California as if it is a region in Italy, our connection to the region, and our love for Italian culinary practices. The rustic, market-driven menu features handmade pasta, pizzas, antipasti, housemade salumi, meat, and fish plus dishes from the Jewish-Roman heritage known as “Cucina Ebraica.” The beverage program focuses heavily on both Italian and Californian wines with a cocktail program that utilizes a variety of spirits, amaros, and seasonal ingredients. Che Fico is a place to gather with friends and enjoy warm hospitality, food, and drink, through an approachable menu and convivial ambiance.

    Food is so good!!! We shared the beet salad, a margherita pizza, the butternut squash raviolis and the gnocchi. I am bot generally a fan of gnocchi but these were pure heaven! Okenty of ootions for our vegetarian party of 4. Drinks and dessert werre a smash hit too!

    Our server suggested several dishes that were fantastic! We thought we ordered too much, and we finished everything. The food was delicious, and so was the suggested wine. We had a great meal and a delightful time.

    Everything here is delicious! A favorite is the Insalata Tritata and the butternut squash tortelli - by far the best pasta that we had. The waitstaff and sommelier are very friendly and helpful, and the vibe is casual but super hip. A really fun night out!

    The staff was friendly , engaging and attentive. The food was outstanding. Had the pizza which was wonderful , the starter dough is 9yrs old. Then I had a split order of pasta. The agnolotti is great but the tortelli was over the top. Thank you for a great experience.

    While the noise level is very high, the food and service is excellent!! The beet salad was possibly the best either of us have ever eaten, the agnolotti is exceptional, and the chocolate desert was rich without over doing it! What a fantastic evening we were able to share at a truly exceptional restaurant in SF. Thanks for making it special.
