Easy to make reservation for a Saturday dinner. However, the restaurant reminded us that the dinner time is up to 1 hour for 2 parties, which I think it's somewhat ridiculous. No server assigned to our table for almost 10 minutes. No water even provided until we asked. The price of food was overpriced. Beef were overcooked and the portion was small. Sangria was too sweet that you can't taste the wine. Overall, it's not a good experience. If Sacramento wants to thrive again, the city needs better restaurants to attract visitors and business.

Food was excellent, with interesting tastes and presentation. Staff was attentive and helpful. An unexpected pleasure and will go again

Every dish we ordered (we sampled a variety and ate the dishes family style) arrived hot and fresh. Because of a Japanese migration to Peru, many of the dishes were an interesting mix of native Peruvian and Asian spices and preparation. Also the dishes not only tasted good, with interesting flavors, but also looked beautiful. It was obvious that the restaurant uses fresh fruit and vegetables. There are many seafood dishes and they don't scrimp on the seafood, which also seemed fresh. They have a kid's menu that with a great healthy choices. We will definitely return.

The food was delicious, especially the filling ceviche trio. Service was great, but the bright lighting gave a fast food vibe.

This restaurant fills a big gap in the cuisine of the midtown-Elk Grove part of Sacramento. We previously relied on stopping at Lima in Concord on trips to the Bay Area. Lima is very good, but Chicha is outstanding. We tried the ceviche sampler as well as the salmon and mahi-mahi main courses. The flavors were diverse, complex and exciting. The service was excellent. The craft beer selection is as good as most gastropubs offer, and is exceptional for the realm of international cuisine.

Trying out this new Peruvian 🇵🇪 @restaurant for the first time. Stay tuned for reviews. Update-entering this welcoming restaurant with beautifully decorated Peruvian artwork and textiles set the tone for the evening. We started with Maracuya Sours for cocktails paired with a side of mouthwatering ceviche, fried yuca and sweet plantains. It was an explosion of flavors. The main course was the very popular Lomo Salado (Peruvian beef stirfry). The service was second to none with our wait staff, Isabel (Isa). She was very delightful and attentive. We were so satisfied that we did not have some of their tasty desserts, but we will definitely be back. Chimpu 🇵🇪

Our server was very attentive, and the chef was able to accommodate my request for a Peruvian dish that wasn’t on the menu and it was so delicious! The music was just right , we were able to have a conversation and enjoy the cultural music playing in the background. The restaurant was over all an great experience for dinner, we will definitely be back again.

Definitely a place with a taste of Peru cuisine. Very attentive service but entrees priced a bit high for Sacramento.

Our party of three ordered a Chicha salad, Chalaco ceviche, Chaufa Taypa, because we wanted some rice and shrimp, and Chaufa de Polloand we will have to go back to have papas a la huancaina. All our dishes had outstanding Peruvian flavor. Service with Kevin was attentive and the Pisco sours were tasty. Peruvian flute music added to the ambiance. More people were there when we left and it was still not excessively loud. We are looking forward to going back for different dishes.
