Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us. First experience here, not a great one! Three main items on the menu, told they were already sold of on on Saturday night! Menu not varied enough and very overpriced for sizes of meals.

Very kind and helpful staff. Disappointed with the bento box. No more ginger, wasabi or small sushi rolls which are now replaced with 2 slices of zucchini. Less chicken in the bento box as well.For the price you pay it’s not worth returning. As a coeliac I always look forward to dining here as I’m already limited on places to eat out. We used to leave here feeling very full ordering the bento box. This time we were still hungry.

We’ve been eating here for many years, always receive great service. Very busy last evening but everyone on their game. Waiting and kitchen staff outstanding.

One of only a few places that accommodate gluten and dairy free where the food is actually fabulous. And I got to eat dessert! Service from all staff was great and shout out to Hugo for his recommendations and great service.

My first dining experience here although my friend has raved about this place for ages. So I booked based on her recommendation. Fabulous place - food was excellent and wait staff were amazing and helped to elevate what was already a great experience. Hugo and Sean provided expert knowledge of food (and sake) and made sure that we were well looked after. Will definitely visit again - awesome experience !

Thank you our waiter ( tall bloke with long black pony tail) lovely man who came & answered all our questions and took our orders in a really professional manner The food arrived and was delicious all of us enjoyed the eating experience.

Food was alright, not bad but not special.and fairly pricey. Service was rude and made me feel upset and worried to ask for anything. I will not go again.

It is a nice place, friendly and helpful staff but the food is so very so so to the point it does not match the price. We tried the chicken karaage which four of us can't finish because we thought they're a bit tasteless unless you dip heavily of the mustard sauce and we are not a big fun of it, agedashi tofu is bland like they forgot the seasoning, chicken teriyaki bento not bad (let's face it teriyaki marinade cant really go wrong), Glad we tried, we did not regret it but we wont come again.
