CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. From the outstanding professional service by Monique to the birthday upside down pineapple cake desserts, we could not have had finer dual birthday lunch. Of particular note was the availability of delicious gluten free bread two guests enjoyed, to the delicious salmon, steak and burger entrees each cooked to order. Thanks to all kitchen staff for preparing a delicious meal.

Tuesday Happy Hour with friends. Quieter evening which we prefer. Very attentive service from the front door through all serve staff. We stick to the basics like salads and burgers. Reliable quality that doesn’t feel like a chain but doesn’t quite create the “extra special” fine dining.

Good food, nice ambience but poor attention to detail. Made a reservation for my 3 year anniversary and added a note to state I wanted the dessert decorated with “Happy Anniversary” and or names and they didn’t acknowledge our anniversary nor did they follow the request. Could have been much better.

Our family frequents this place. We normally go for birthday dinners there. The food is normally good and the service is generally excellent. We celebrated a birthday for one of our boys last night. Unlike other times, we did not get the usual complementary slice of birthday cake. A bit disappointed. The service was ok and a bit below par this time as well. Maybe we will switch to the Keg going forward, the Keg is another favorite spot of ours.

We had a great gathering of friends to celebrate the new year. Our server was really great, providing the drinks, appetizers and dinner in good measure, and helpful with the menu. The food was great, everyone liked their choices. Me and partner had the creamy mushroom dip with toast to share as an appetizer, it was wonderful! I had the seafood pasta for dinner, which was very good, unfortunately no lobster - otherwise, all was very good!
