ChopHouse Grille is a lively and approachable restaurant offering fresh seasonal fare, steaks, unique handcrafted cocktails, spirit-free beverages, PA craft beer on tap and over 23 wines by the glass along with a well-curated bottle list. The light-filled restaurant is the picture of comfortable elegance with a palate of cool grays and cream clapboard walls and high ceilings with exposed wood beams. The zinc-topped bar serves as a lively focal point against warm, wood toned tables and smoky navy-blue banquets which set the stage for the upscale, yet casual dining experience. The four seasons room opens to the patio with a fire pit and lounge seating to complete the comfortable, sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.

We went for a late lunch / early dinner. The service was very slow, which can happen sometimes at this hour, but multiple times during the meal, drinks were empty. It took a very long time for food to arrive. When the food arrived, all of the French fries were cold. For a restaurant at this price level, this is unexpected. The steaks had a good flavor and my son loved the truffle mac and cheese. The cook on one of the steaks was a bit more than what was ordered. The salmon dish I had was flavored well.

Ariana was great, and the bacon wrapped scallops, with potatoes, cauliflower and mustard sauce was tasty.

Once we discovered this gem, we keep coming back! Our favorites are the short rib bolognese (with potato gnocchi-yum), the short ribs, the pork chop, and the fruit with ricotta flat bread. Love this place!

The atmosphere was extremely warm and welcoming! The hostess was so nice and communicated effectively when they were at their busiest time! Our waitress was so sweet and amazing! Kept our glasses full and gave awesome recommendations. I wish I got her name but she wore really cute mushroom earrings! Really recommend her! The food was OUTSTANDING! Very reasonably priced and the wine selection was great as well!

Great service, and the place is clean and well organized. My wife said her Steak and Bleu salad was delicious. My New York strip steak was good, though a little tough and overdone; the accompanying green beans and fingerling potatoes were very good. Desserts were delicious. It's very noisy: nothing but hard surfaces that reflect sound. Prices seemed a little steep for what we got, but that's pretty normal these days.

Perfect Friday night spot for us, 2 teens my husband and I and all had a delicious meal! The short ribs, salads and flatbreads are favorites and always fresh and perfectly seasoned. Loved the special with tortellini and shrimp! Jennifer is an excellent server who took great care of us and she’s so friendly and nice. Can’t wait to come again.
