Our server was wonderful, and that was the best part of the meal. I have seen so many things on social media, so I was excited to try it. In all honesty, it was just ok. A very overcooked crunchy biscuit and the shrimp and Grits were room temperature, not even close to being hot, which was weird because the restaurant was not busy. We eat out a lot with friends etc, the quality of the food did not match the price point at all. The 15% added for staff and management was a surprise because that did not include tipping our server.

Fantastic brunch! Loved everything from the decor to the food. The bottomless mimosas were an added bonus!

We were told by our waitress the the 15% automatic gratuity did not go to her, so of course we added anther 15% for her, for a total of 30% tip….crazy!!!! We looked it up online later and she lied. A portion does go to her, so we would have only tipped an additional 5%, for a total of 20%. She won the battle, but lost the war. We won’t go back because of this!

I went for the food but was pleasantly surprised by the service and the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. The Host (sorry, can't remember his name) seated me promptly for my reservation, taking note that I was visiting from out of state. He later came up and offered me some recommendations of things to do and see in and around Denver. My server was Joe and he informed me it was the last day of Restaurant Week and made suggestions from that menu. I started with a cocktail, Violet Hours, which was a nice gin cocktail. My meal consisted of F***** O**** Agnolotti and Handmade Braided Ravioli. Both were full of flavor. The agnolotti was delicious, full of French onion taste in a creamy smooth sauce. The ravioli was mildly spicy. The dessert I chose was the Buttermilk Cake, at the strong recommendation from Joe. I am so glad I took his recommendation! The only bad thing about the cake was the slimness of the slice, only because I wanted more of it!! The check was uniquely served inside The Art of War book. Before I leave Denver, I am planning on returning again!

All the food was exceptional. I was a little skeptical that the biscuits and gravy would be tasty west of the Mississippi, but I was pleasantly surprised!! Drinks were on point and well balanced.

I had an amazing experience at Church and Union during Restaurant Week! From the moment we walked in, the host was warm and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Our server, Andrew, provided outstanding service—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our dining experience exceptional. He guided us through the menu with great recommendations, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant, the food exceeded expectations, and the overall experience was truly memorable. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!

The free hummus app was a nice touch. The food was just okay. Nothing to write home about. We did a mixture of restaurant week and other food. The wine suggestion was good and our server was extremely knowledgeable and attentive! May go back for happy hour or something but wouldn’t spend $300+ again
