Cira is a modern, Mediterranean restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as weekend brunch. The menu is made up of shareable plates designed to fill your table and your stomach, inspired by the countries that make up the Mediterranean Basin. Set in the lobby of the Hoxton Hotel in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, the restaurant boasts a sun-soaked full-service lounge and coffee bar, and is transformed into an ambient, moody hub of dining and drinking as the sun sets.

The service was horrible. Brian, our server, seemed irritated and ready to go home. He didn’t introduce himself (I had to ask HIM his name), didn’t ask if we had been there before (which we hadn’t. Would have been nice to get a run down on the menu and any specials) and he wasn’t pleasant or personable…at all. When the food came out, they didn’t clear the table. Just plopped it down wherever it could fit. Again, I had to ASK them to take away empty glasses and plates. I thought I was taking my children to a nice Christmas dinner, but it ended up being a boring, super flat experience. A waste of $350 for sure. If you decide to go anyway after reading this, get the pistachio ravioli. Everything else on the menu was very mid.

We went christmas day for dinner and it was phenomenal! The drinks, appetizers, and entrees were so filling and amazing. Don't skip the pistachio ravioli! Our server was fantastic and quick. We were sat right next to the Christmas tree so the ambiance of it was perfect.

It was amazing. So tasty we went with kids and they were so nice to bring out toys for my kids to play with. The kids loved their pasta and I enjoyed the pistachio ravioli and the goat cheese dates. Husband had the tunisian rice bowl with lamb everything was top notch.

Andy was amazing at coordinating with me a table that was a little quieter so I could talk with my friends that I hadn't seen in over a year! The food and service were outstanding so glad that we went there for our holiday dinner!!
