Where we invite you to journey into a place of both intimacy and companionship
Our concept is drawn from our name. The word “cloak” implies secrecy, inspiring our concept of a social sphere humming beneath the levels of ordinary life. “Petal” alludes to the Japanese tradition of “hanami,” when family and friends gather under blooming cherry blossoms to savor food, drinks and fellowship.
Enter our space and travel underground to décor reminiscent of an abandoned Tokyo subway, a stratum of society all its own, an artist’s dream. Cross the threshold into a mystically transformed Japanese social dining lounge which appears to be an outdoor seating area, similar to a waiting platform. Sit beneath a trellis of draping vines and teardrop lights in the intimate space we’ve thoughtfully created, and feast on authentic Japanese sushi, appetizers, small plates and drinks with family and friends.

Loved my experience here! Food and energy was great! I’m so happy I chose this as the restaurant to have my first dinner after my bodybuilding comp! Yum!!

Looked like a fun place for the people there doing drinks with friends, but food is sub-par. The menu descriptions did not accurately depict the food. As an example: Waygu “wrapped” roll had a very small piece of Waygu draped over the roll. They have a fun concept as a bar but need to work the menu.

Loved everything about it!! The happy hour menu is amazing, the drinks are delicious and the ambience is beautiful. Highly recommend giving it a try!!!

The dishes are generic compared to other michlene guide restaurants. The sushi dishes are off balanced with taste. There are some sushi that are so spicy you can't taste any other flavor not only at the same moment but it ruins the taste of everything else for the rest of the meal. The staff was good and understanding but the manue needs revising.

Very appreciated the friendliness of the staff - hostess was very courteous in changing our table location, further from front door and the cold. Several vegan options available. Tasty food, nice presentation.

Food was creative and wonderful. The Notorius P.I.G. Was stellar such a highlight as well as the short ribs. The ambiance was nice busy but it worked for the space brought up conversational topics. The music was perfection!

They are very good at filling waters. I would finish my water and more would magically appear. 10/10 would go again for water experience.
