   The entire experience was great. The tasting menu allowed many of the menu items to be tried. Service was amazing, details around courses was clear. A truly great experience.

   Great service but the menu options are impeccable , 5 or 9 curse wine pairing or off the menu, we had tuna crude with crispy capers , addicting, the seared scallops garnished with parsnip and crispy potato accents and pork belly , plus the risotto with hen mushrooms topped with pork belly …all unique and delicious!!!

   Everything about the restaurant shows the commitment to quality and attention to detail. The decor is clean, chic and modern, but inviting. The staff are friendly, efficient and seem genuinely to care that you have a great experience. The food is top class. We had the 6 course tasting menu and the plates were all beautifully conceived, prepared and presented. The wine pairings were good and the dishes were served at just the right time, so that we were not hurried, but enjoyed the progression.

   Simply one of the best examples (in West Michigan) of a small restaurant and talented team being focused on excellence all the way around, from start to finish. Coast 236 executes at a level of culinary skill and service that we're grateful for, especially being so close to our home. Some of the freshest ingredients, especially the seafood (flown in multiple times a week) combined with the chef's passion for flavor, texture, and presentation all work together to deliver an experience worthy of a Michelin or James Beard recommendation. Highly recommended, and we'll be back again soon!

   Great meal at Coast 236. The lamb chops and scallops were amazing. The fennel salad was also phenomenal. The service was perfect

   The food and service are always great! We sar in the front window by the entrance door, which was regularly being opened in the 20 degree weather. A separate space heater by the front window seats would be appreciated! The management turned up the heat and drew a curtain when requested, but winter weather may require a little more intervention!

    I had an incredible experience here from the food, experience with staff, service, and ambience of the restaurant. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items which are selected and crafted to perfection. Staff is welcoming and respectful which added that much more to the experience.
