Cocody Restaurant & Bar is a brand new culinary experience in Houston's prestigious River Oaks shopping center. The restaurant includes two of Houston's favorite fine-dining chefs, Chef David Denis and Chef Lionel Debon who both share a passion for the artistry of flavor and atmosphere. I really wanted to like this place. The food was amazing. Cocody has all the makings of a great restaurant, but it is completely undercut by the horrible service. One of the worst I’ve experienced.

My friends & I went for brunch. Restaurant is beautiful! Food was excellent & presentation was perfect! Chef David was very kind and spent some time with us and brought us pain au chocolat on the house. Service was also excellent. Would highly recommend Cocody!

This place is very well decorated and an elegant place all around. The food was served beautifully and portions just right. My wife complained her bisque had too much lobster in it (hah). Our wait staff was good but main waitress left us alone too much. The busmen kept our glasses full and plates cleared promptly and served the food with flair. Good looking and well dressed crowd made for a fun evening of fine dining and people watching.

Bonjour la team. Je vis à présent aux USA . Je me suis rappelée mon coté culinaire Français entre le mélange de foie gras accompagné du sauternes . Quel délice. Ambiance bon enfant . Mon époux et moi-même avions apprécié le menu, le service et le rapport qualité -prix. Merci Cocody’s team Nathalie . E.

Outstanding overall experience! The food is exquisite as always. Chef Denis and Chef Lionel are true gastronomical gems in the Houston food scene. This is the best French restaurant in Houston and perhaps in the entire state of Texas! Sylvain does an exceptional job keeping the place going and taking care of his guests. The food was incredible! The restaurant is one of the most beautiful in Houston, overall our dining experience was exceptional. Will definitely return again and again.

This was our first visit and definitely will be back! The food and service were wonderful. Started with burrata and a salmon salad. Both were fantastic. We had chicken and a lobster risotto for our entree and the trio of fruit sorbets for dessert. Everything was bursting with flavor and the presentations were beautiful. Our waitress was friendly and our sommelier gave us great wine choices.

Local foodie who enjoys a good tasting menu with wine pairing. Was my first time at Cocody. The ambience was refined yet laid back. Noise level minimal. We had the lollis as appetizer with a cocktail and mocktail. The Harvest cocktail was not my favorite but the ginger mocktail was delicious. We did the Chef discovery menu and all the plates were delicious. Appealing to both the eyes and tasty. I did the wine pairing and the sommelier did a wonderful job. Only thing and it’s a personal preference is that I like to enjoy the wine and food but don’t like to drink full glass of wine with each plate. Otherwise you leave feeling tipsy at the end of the meal. I enjoy the tasting experience and would recommend. Definitely will be back.

Cocody is a beautiful restaurant, very pleasing to the eye. Their background music is very calming. Wait staff were a bit slow. Food was just ok, nothing special. Cocody fried potatoes were in dire need of seasoning. The butternut squash soup was very bland. My Tiger Prawns were rubbery and chewy but the presentation was exceptional. My husband’s lobster risotto was good but nothing special. We so wanted this to be a new favorite restaurant but it was totally lacking in the food flavor but excellent in the decor.
