This is a fun spot. The food was excellent. I'm a salad fiend and their fall salad is now at the top of my list. The staff, though clearly well-meaning, were over burdened. No one checked in with us after we were served. If they had, I could have told them that the chicken I requested was left off the salad. This is no big deal; it happens. What was a bigger deal is that, after flagging a server down and being told they would get it, it never arrived. When the bill came, I was told then that the chicken would take too long to cook so they just...didn't. That's a new one on me. My hope is that as the kinks get worked out at this new and very promising eatery, such events will be a thing of their past. We absolutely plan to go back, though. This oddity did not tarnish our overall opinion. Great pre-Fox show choice.

Great menu selection for dinner. Try the truffle fries. All of 7 at our table ordered a different main course, and all of them were excellent! Service was outstanding. Wine and cocktails were very good. Location is great if you're seeing a show at the Fox or Sheldon or happen to be in the neighborhood.

The bar area can get “vibrant” with customer’s volume, so it’s best to sit in the back dining room if you wish to have a quiet conversation.

Food was great, server was great. Food took a long time and the manager was not helpful at all in getting us parking validations.

Very different experience, made a reservation for 6 and upon arrival was seated in a private dining room. This wasn’t the experience I expected as I’m one who likes being in an open area seeing other people and who likes the buzz of people coming and going. The restaurant is not set-up for this either took quite some time even get water. Now I will say my guests enjoyed the ability to speak freely. Food was good, service was ok, you need lots of people to serve a private room and they for the most part only had one, she was fun and caring though

Food was great. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was perfect. Hats off to Emily for making our night special. Would highly recommend going to Commonwealth for dinner.
