The ambience is one of a kind, needless to say. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. My only feedback is the variety and size of the appetizers. Charcuterie was very small in size.

We were really excited to celebrate New Year's at this venue, given its classy interior and beautiful Christmas decorations. However, we were extremely disappointed by the DJ, whose music didn’t align at all with the atmosphere. We were expecting something more sophisticated, like piano music or a similar genre, to match the elegant setting. Unfortunately, the DJ’s choices were completely out of place, and it detracted from the experience. Based on this, we wouldn’t recommend this venue for a more refined celebration.

12/10 would recommend this place. It was probably the best bar I went to in Toronto in 2024. It has a moody vibe with tasteful Christmas decor. It felt like stepping into a bar in London and honestly, I don't know how time went by. Me and my friend sat at the bar and it did get a bit loud but I didn't mind. The service was amazing. The bartenders helped us select great drinks and were very attentive. We only got the fries here which were fresh and nice. I highly recommend getting the sticky toffee pudding, it was delicious. And for the drinks, they were expertly created. I got the Negroni from the Christmas menu and loved it!

Great experience! I really like the Christmas decorations. The service was excellent. Cocktails were great, foods were delicious but not expensive. Highly recommended

Atmosphere was really lovely during the holidays and beautiful for pictures. Unfortunately, the drink menu did not appeal to me at all with the majority of cocktails being made with gin which I can’t have, and the bar was unable to accommodate any substitutions. Ended up going with our servers suggestion of the Umeboshi without gin, since I didn’t like the sounds of anything else, but didn’t personally enjoy it. We didn’t have any food but the options sounded good.

We tried the Christmas Carol bar and it was really nice experience. Drinks were great and our server was great. Drinks are definitely on the expensive side to be honest but they were really great. Inside was decorated in Christmas themed for this and it was lovely. Because of this, there were lot of people taking pictures especially around the tree. Quite noisy so you have to talk pretty loud in order to talk your party. Maybe will come back in another season for regular drinks.

When I realize this is same team of BarChef, I knew it must be terrible, but it's too late. Same terrible quality of drink, ugly gasses, no alcohol taste at all. Even worse than the cocktail that served in a random sports bar. And the Christmas decoration is bad quality too, feel they all bought from dollarama or some 7-handed Facebook market stuff. While i was there because i saw so many recommdations online, guess there are bunch of people are the targeted customers who loves this bar, or love the vibe. I'm not.

There needs to be rules with the people taking photos at the tree. There is no concept of personal space and servers and staff looked exhausted dealing with it. The table next to the tree looked visibly uncomfortable when people were taking pictures near the tree. It was an amazing evening but parts of it were a below par for the caliber of the bar.
