The food was absolutely amazing—we ordered a variety of starters, mains, and sides, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant throughout the evening, and we were really enjoying our meal. However, towards the end, the experience took a disappointing turn. Just as we were finishing our food (with even a piece of steak still on the plate), the owner/manager approached us to inform us that dessert would take 30 minutes, which we were happy to wait for. We then asked for a cup of tea, only to be told we’d have to drink it at the bar because the next table was waiting. In hindsight, it felt like the 30-minute dessert wait was just an excuse to get us to leave. Feeling rushed, we asked for the bill, requesting it in about five minutes. Instead, it arrived within a minute, and before we could even process it, payment was taken, the table was being cleaned, and we were shown the door. It was a disappointing end to what had been an otherwise great dining experience. Ali provided exceptional service—10/10 for him. We understand there was a 1 hour 30-minute dining limit, and we did go slightly over, but that was largely due to the delay in receiving our mains. Given the amount we spent, we expected a bit more courtesy rather than being hurried out. A real shame, as we were looking forward to dessert and tea to round off the meal. A true delight of an evening. Cona always raises the bar in every way on every occasion. Lovely ambience, gorgeous food and spectacular service. There is nothing that could be better.

The food took too long, they put a service change on my bill and I didn’t even see it, therefore paid for it when I wasn’t happy. I waited for an hour for my mains, felt rushed

If you want to eat the most carefully curated food in the world come to cona. I can honestly say I regularly eat in restaurants all over the country and globally nothing beats cona. Armi takes pride in his food and is passionate about what he serves to his guests. Iv been dining here for over 10yrs and and Armi still continues to surprise me.
