Once the home of Dame Nellie Melba, Coombe Yarra Valley is a property with an unrivalled provenance. Seven acres of stunning gardens and beautifully appointed facilities in the restored motor house and clock tower offer a truly unique gourmet and cultural experience.

Located within the restored motor house and historic clock tower and under the helm of Chef Neil Cunningham, our restaurant serves Contemporary Modern Australian a la carte menu options.

An inspiring selection of seasonal and estate grown produce is on offer for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea 5 days a week.

The restaurant is modern, spacious yet intimate and overlooks the landscaped market-style courtyard of the beautifully restored facilities. The view from the conservatory is of the Coombe cottage garden ‘avenue’ and gives glimpses of the oldest swimming pool in Victoria.

The Barramundi was awesome . As was the Crudo of seasonal fish entree .

We very much enjoyed our high tea at Coombe Valley but there were just a few little things that would have made it an outstanding experience. Several times we had to call staff over to get drinks refilled or ordered. We weren't offered coffee or tea. The tea was very strong (despite ordering it weak) and not a nice blend. The food was very good, especially the lobster slider and the little tarts. But the wagyu slider was dry, the scones were dense rather than light and fluffy. And the none of us liked the complimentary cocktail/mocktail - pink and sort of tasted like a lolly. They did accommodate my son's nut allergy very well. The setting was lovely with big glass windows looking out into the trees.

Such a fantastic winery! It was my first time at Coombe Yarra Valley, and I’ll definitely be back. The venue is stunning, with both an elegant interior and a beautiful outdoor area that’s perfect for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. The food was exceptional - each dish was full of flavour. The pricing felt very fair for the quality offered, making it a great value. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable day in the Yarra Valley!

Five of us had 4 different meals and they were all delicious. A very good wine list and friendly efficient service. Great for a special occasion.

Another pleasurable dining experience at Coombe. Everything from the setting, service and food was perfect. I cannot think of anything to improve on. I also bought my Christmas pudding from the cellar door.

Great food, ambience, service and surrounds. Usually largely booked in advance. We were blessed with the place being open on a Public Holiday. A spontaneous drive from Melbourne and we got the last lunch booking for the day. Very pleasing! 2 course lunch. The 2014 Coombe Farm, Evelyn tribute series - Chardonnay was exquisite.

What a delightful dining experience we had on our 10th anniversary. It was excellent from the moment we entered the restaurant, a wonderful greeting, acknowledging our Anniversary. Seating had to be managed due to the wheelchair, but that was no issue and they made us feel very special the entire time we were there. The food was superb. We will be back
