We always had a great experience when going to Cooper’s Hawk, Annapolis. Food was great, however, our Server was not very polite and treated us more like we were a burden to her. We chalked it up to a one-off as past experiences were always been great. Our Server should find another job as the Service Industry isn’t her strong suit.

Had 730 reservations and was seated 1 hour late. Not a huge deal but feel like more could have been done to compensate. Had to ask for bread! Food was decent and ambiance was good.

For having made reservations well in advance we were surprised to get one of the noisiest tables right at the entry way. Food was ok. Mixed drinks were really good.

Looked like this is the restaurant where all the people were. We had the gnocchi carbonara and the shrimp scampi; white wine flight and Cooper’s Hawk Ale (Goose Island). Very tasty and reasonable portions. Only problem was that it was very loud. We changed up the place we went to this New Years Eve. Last year we were disappointed with our usual place. It was not a mistake to come to Coopers Hawk.

Dinner was great, but this was nothing new. I have enjoyed dining at CH every time I’ve been there. The tasting I tried to experience was much rougher, however. I waited an hour before I could even begin and then could not finish before my reservation time. I think that CH should allow for tasting reservations.

I’ve visited this restaurant in Annapolis many times and have always been impressed with both the service and the food. However, on my most recent visit, I was very disappointed. I made a reservation for 6:45, but we weren’t seated until 7:15/20. My partner and I were downstairs in the tasting room, so I sent him up at 6:30 to ask if we could push our reservation back a bit so we could finish the tasting. The hosts told him they could only push it to 8:00. When he asked if we could finish our tasting and receive a call or text when the table was ready, the hosts were hesitant and unhelpful. Thankfully, our tasting room server was kind enough to offer us a glass of wine to enjoy while we waited. We were able to finish our drinks while waiting for our table. While we weren’t thrilled with the wait, the server was excellent, and the food, once we were seated, was fantastic. That said, there were many other unhappy patrons, and it seemed management was blaming the customers at the tables for the delays, which only added to the frustration. While the overall dining experience was still enjoyable, I’d recommend not planning to sit right at the time of your reservation, as delays seem to be a recurring issue.

We always enjoy Coopers Hawk, however on this occasion, it was quite busy and behind schedule. We were initially frustrated because we drive over an hour to dine there and although we had a reservation, we had to wait 30min to be seated. However, our waitress was so kind and welcoming, it really helped us to have an enjoyable evening. Evelyn was super!!! If you can ask for her, she will make sure you have an enjoyable dinner.
