It was always a great experience. The servers and waiters are always welcoming even though it was a busy night. They kept us informed and did their best to make my birthday dinner something to remember.

Normally this restaurant is top notch but our recent visit on a busy Saturday night was not up to its usual standards. The place was packed and very busy and also very noisy. Our reservation was at 630 and we did not get our food until 730. The food was OK but it had obviously been placed under a warming lamp for a while and when served it was luke warm. I will admit, given how busy the place was, the waitress had her hands full but we constantly had to ask for things that should have been brought without having to ask. For example when she brought dessert she brought no silverware and it took her another 15 minutes to bring it. We will definitely go here again but will go at a less busy time.

We had reservations for 1:15pm didn’t get seated until 1:50pm. Once the waitress came to the table we literally had 8 minutes to order brunch. We felt rushed. Cooks should be able to make brunch food until 2:30pm for those who didn’t sit down in time but still in that brunch window. So.. We went to order the drinks waiter advised they was out of the brunch sangria 😱 how, its too early to be out of this or that. No meatballs, no egg-rolls ready, no sangria. I know brunch is new to you all just need to be more prepared WE don’t play about Brunch in Richmond!!

We decided to visit this location yesterday for dinner since we have a soccer tournament in the area this weekend. My son and I had the braised short rib, my favorite Cooper’s Hawk dish that I order every time, and it tasted pretty bland. He mentioned a similar sentiment about his short rib without any prompting. This location’s food quality was not at the level that I expected based on my dining experiences at other CH locations. I left feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed with my meal. The service, however, was great and much appreciated.
