This was our third Thanksgiving at Cooper’s Hawk and I have to say I was disappointed. I know they were extremely busy. (We were told they had over 1000 covers for the day!) Our server had only been on the job for two weeks so she was a little overwhelmed but she did a good job and was very pleasant. The problem I had with the dinner was the presentation of the Thanksgiving dinner. Food was literally thrown on the plate! The portions were good and the food was good it just wasn’t appealing! If this had been our first Thanksgiving at Cooper’s Hawk we probably would not have gone back. In the future, if we do decide to go back, we’ll probably go earlier in the day.

The Thanksgiving dinner was as just wonderful. The turkey was moist & tasty, both dark & and white meat. The dressing delicious & traditional. The green beans crispy, tasty & not over cooked. The most delightful surprise was the gravy made from the juices of the turkey. The best restaurant Thanksgiving dinner I have ever had.

Thank you, Coopers Hawk, for a wonderful Thanksgiving Day meal. We are hosting a big meal the day after, and needed to pick up our wine club for November and December. Having a traditional turkey dinner for lunch made it all work out perfectly for us. Service, food, and wine were are enjoyable as usual.

We had an outstanding meal today at Cooper's Hawk. We had reservations, and we were promptly attended to at our table. The server, Jacob was very attentive, and the food was superb. Highly recommend their dessert menu, also. We always enjoy the atmosphere and food at this restaurant in Springfield, Illinois.

Wrong drink, wrong soup but all tasted good. Just a few kinks in the chain. But for the price you pay those should be worked out.
