We specialize in the Food and Wine of Rome and Southern Italy. Coperta translates to blanket; we want to surround you with comforting food and hospitality during your experience with us. The Mezzogiorno separates from the South from the North of Italy. We take pride in these regions and the history of their food and culture. We offer a full service bar and extensive Wine List of Southern Italian wines. Our decor is charmingly old school with big windows and tile floors. We would love for you to come to see us!

We accept reservations nightly and our bar area is open seating. If you do not see your desired time please give us a call!

Join us for this Italian-American Christmas Tradition! Enjoy 7 dishes of curated Italian Fish dishes over 3 courses. We will be serving this pre-fixe menu from December 22-December 24th. This will be our 9th year offering the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Full Menu available as well. Full Table Participation encouraged but not required! $89++ per person. Spend the last night of 2024 at Coperta's Little Italy Night! Join us a night of New York Italian Food! Little Italy Night is all about red-sauce joint classic dishes. Our kitchen prepares some iconic dishes including; Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, Penne alla Vodka, Stuffed Shells, Chicken Parmigiana, Tiramisu and much more. Amazing experience as always. The cacio e pepe was out of this world, the service— personalized, warm & knowledgeable. This is one of our favorite spots in Denver!

In the first place they automatically charge 23% gratuity for all parties Unfortunately on my visit a handful of things went wrong. Starting with The foccacia. It came cold and soggy. The rigatoni carbonara came cold and dry and they even noticed and made a new one. The beef short rib was a bit cold and for the price just one piece. The cacio e pepe was average and for some reason it felt like the plates was waiting too long. As an overall the restaurant is overrated

Great food and drink! The muscles are incredible and we could ordered extra focaccia to finish off the broth.

Great food. Positive staff. Over experience was awesome. Eggplant Parmesan was very good. As were the brownies. 10/10 experience. Would recommend.

Amazing food and exceptional service. The squash appetizer was my favorite. We went on Monday so there were homemade spaghetti and meatballs. The bread was also spectacular.

I made reservations for 5pm on Thanksgiving Eve not knowing if they would busy. My party was the first, but they filled up by 6pm. Their cuisine is primarily southern Italy, with pasta and antipasti items. They have an extensive wine list by the bottle and 9 wines by the glass. We had their Radicchio salad which was ideal to share and the Salumi e Formaggi platter. We both got pastas. They offer 1/2 size and full size portions. I splurged for the best red wine (2019 Nicosia Contrada Monte Gorna Etna Rosso) from Sicily, grown on the southeast flank of Mt Etna. The volcanic soil and sea breezes made for a full bodied but lighter red wine. We both had desserts and Amaro to finish this great experience. We were served by Nicole R which gave recommendations and was efficient.

Restaurant is very good. Staff is fantastic. I would highly recommended more people show up as the more there are I think the better overall atmosphere would be.

My husband and I took our sons to dinner at Coperta last night. We sat in a booth which made for a cozy evening. We started with a meat & cheese board and cocktails. Staff helped us choose a bottle of wine to pair with our entrees. As always, dinner was delicious. We enjoyed eggplant parm, ravioli, tortellini, & spaghetti. For us there’s no skipping dessert at Coperta. We shared gelato, vanilla pudding, donuts, and olive oil brownies. I love this place. We will be back!
