Cork & Flame can trace its history back to 2004 when Roger Strohl opened The Vineyard Wine Market. After a successful 13 years, The Vineyard has joined forces with Chef Justin Hayes and partners to form a unique combination of fine dining, tapas and wine market, offering customers a single culinary experience. In addition to the fine dining, tapas and wine market, the Cork and Flame hosts wine tastings, wine dinners, and private party events.

    Food was really good! Maybe overpriced but included nice palate cleansers between courses. Enjoyed special touches for a nice dinner. Service was a bit slow.

    I have been at C&F several times but this time I was there with a special friend and we celebrated friendship. I am so happy to the addition of the sommelier Gonzalo. Quite entertaining to hear his ample knowledge of wines, regions and history. He took us on a tour with the wine selection and the history behind the Chilean wine that he recommended. The food recommendation was excellent as well. I chose the market fish and my friend the venison. Both dishes were excellent and enough. We walked away happy and we will definitely return.

    Greeted with champagne. Food fantastic. I had lobster bisque and the scallops with corn. Best meal I’ve had in past year. My husband had the hoppin johns which was unexpectedly really good. He had the salmon entree with mushrooms- also fantastic. Service after seated was very slow to get started but then significantly improved after 20 min of waiting for initial cocktails. We will be back soon! 😋

    I have dined here many times but they were off their game last night. However, the manager was quite accommodating so we will likely return.

    It was my birthday and I had the worst table ever. I was sat in that awkward side hallway in the back which wasn’t the worst, but what made it so was that my husband’s chair was essentially holding the door open to the to back dinning area and I was against the wine cooler. It was cramped and at one point I went to stretch and I hit the lights causing them to dim. I just couldn’t help but think, did I really need a reservation two days in advance for this? They did comp my dessert and the service was excellent shout out Megan!

    C&F is our favorite restaurant. Period. We have eaten is some of the finest restaurants in London, DC, Vegas, etc and I would put Chef Justin’s creations up against any of them. Truly OUTSTANDING each and every time!
