Sage, salted caramel and red onion tarte tatin topped with whipped goatʼs cheese and toasted almonds, with a green salad

On a bed of Champagne velouté sauce, braised fennel, tomato concassé, dill and crushed new potatoes

It was a great experience, despite a half-hour delay in being served due to the restaurant being very busy at the time. Once our orders were taken the service from the friendly staff was good. The food was excellent and good value for money. I will definitely be booking Côte again in the near future.

I know it’s Christmas and I know it’s busy but the overall service from the man waiter was absolutely rubbish . When we arrived we were seated and actually had to ask for menus, we then had to go ask to have a drinks order taken . Either our waiter was on his first ever shift or he was looking after 50 other tables as his attention was rubbish . We had to ask to have our order taken. When the food came they had missed off one of the kids food . We were half way through our dinner when the last meal came out. It was so ridiculous hot I had actually finished mine and the child still couldn’t eat his where it was so hot…. We then gave up with our waiter and found a young lady waitress who was very efficient, we ordered more drinks and deserts , and she cleared our table. The man waiter brought out our desserts , again forgetting one child desert and unfortunately it was the same child that had his dinner forgotten . Eventually I decided enough was enough and yet again had to get up and hunt down a member of staff to ask for the bill. Even though the lady waitress gave us something off the bill, I would rather enjoyed our night then having a little reduction .

Excellent service in a busy cosy restaurant. We all enjoyed our meals and it was a lovely evening out.

WE enjoyed a wonderful lunch to celebrate our our anniversary from our wedding some 42 years. Everything was just perfect and a lovely touch with a free glass of prosecco for both of us. Thank you

Outstanding from the moment my wife and I walked in to celebrate her Birthday, a fact I had informed the restaurant about. This led to a Happy Birthdsy greeting from the Manager and two glasses of fizz appearing as soon as we sat down. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The food quality was outstanding. I asked for the chef to know how well my steak had been cooked. It almost triggered an emotional moment which was strange. The restaurant was very busy and so we were given two table options to compensate for differeing noise levels. The crowning glory was my wife's creme brulee arriving with a candle on top. Our best restaurant experience ever and we are seasoned diners. There needs to be a Glasgow restaurant where we live. The Manager was very visible during the shift I noticed and the waiting staff were incredibly efficient.

We are regulars at this Cote branch. We had boooked many weeks in advance asking for a specific area in the restaurant. Our requests are normally accommodated. On this occasion, we were unsuccessful, which was disappointing. We were seated instead in a sub-optimal part of the restaurant. The steak frites - normally excellent, was sub-par; the meat was tough and the dish was not as warm as it should be. The staff and service were friendly and excellent, but could in the end not alter the reality of a slightly disappointing evening at the restaurant.
