Cree Wine Company offers an impeccable selection of curated wines from around the world, and pairs it all with a beautifully crafted food menu. All of this is presented in a comfortable wine bar & kitchen with a beautiful classroom and event space, designed to bring real wine experiences to life.

Our Wine Bar & Kitchen offers hundreds of wines and spirits by the taste and by the glass. From 4pm until close on weekdays, starting at 12pm on Saturdays, and from 11am on Sundays we have a beautifully crafted menu of entrees and shareable plates to enjoy with your wines. We have over 700 different wines on the wine list, plus over 100 spirits and wines by the glass or flight!

Stop in to pick up your wine, chat with Chris and the team, and sample some special wines & appetizers. There is no cost to attend. Our last walk-around tasting event of the year and we are finishing out the year with Rare Whiskey & Fortified. A special evening of limited, rare and special selections with Tom Anderer, DipWSET, Cree Wine Company's Spirits Director. It's a great time to sample some amazing spirts and pick up any last minute gifts!

What a festive way to welcome the holiday season with a Cree Champagne tasting!! It was a little bit of Heaven in Hunterdon County - Thanks Chris & staff for a very enjoyable & memorable tasting! Now the hard part - trying to decide what to order :)

Enjoyed another dinner with friends. Atmosphere very warm and comfortable. Sea scallops were excellent as well as the shishito peppers garnished with cashews. Our server, Nicole, was professional and allowed us to catch up in conversation with our friends without being over bearing. The hostess was very welcoming and lovely. Look forward to returning.

Another great dinner at Cree. The edamame is so tasty as a starter. The perfect seasoning. I had the duck confit which was delicious. We had a great bottle of wine from Burgundy. Plus, it was wine Wednesday, so no corkage fee! All the staff at Cree are all great.

Cree Wine is an amazing place, to enjoy the depth of wine knowledge available at Cree would otherwise require a trip to Manhattan. The focus here is wine, if you do not enjoy wines, if their yearly variations in scents, intensity and depth of tastes does not fascinate you, you can have a good meal here, but you are missing the point. Despite that focus Cree does its best to not be off putting to a novice wine drinker. Instead it encourages them with inexpensive (for the value) flights and dozens of wines available as small tastes. There is no need to commit to a whole bottle, though if you do Cree Wine is the fairest priced restaurant you will find. They charge only NJ retail price plus a $35 service fee, even for wines costing hundreds of dollars which normal restaurants routinely double or triple in price. The food while not the focus, is well prepared and intended to enhance rather than compete with enjoying the plethora of wine options. They have 3 plate sizes 1,2 & 3, intended to be similar to a usual starter, share plate and entree. My guest and I shared the seasonal cheese special Vacherin Mont d'Or, a taste you would otherwise need to travel to Switzerland to have. The whole cheese was warmed until its gooey unctuousness was at its peak, and served with duck fat fried fingerling potatoes, little toasts, cornichons and a small bit of endive salad. We paired this with a glass of the recommended French white wine, then went on to try flights of three chardonnays and a trio of Rhone wines. Undaunted by the cheese we added an order of sourdough bread and a wonderful butter, a scallops plate and a duck confit plate to share. All were delicious and paired very well with the wines. On a negative note the restaurant was quite busy and very loud. We were seated at a high top table even though I had requested a normal table in my reservation. Our waitress was very helpful, but extremely busy. It took a long time to order and to get our food. We will be back.

The wine selection is impressive, but it doesn’t quite align with the overall dining experience. While the pricing is comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant, the food quality doesn’t fully justify the cost. Additionally, the service could use improvement.

I’m very sorry your experience at Cree Wine Company wasn’t up to your expectations. This is not the norm here and our 4.8 average scores on Open Table & Google bear that out, and hope you will accept my apology. Regarding the wine program we are a Wine Spectator Best Award winner, with 100s of wines by the glass & flight & over 900 by the bottle, and I’d love to know a little more about where we fell short here. Our prices are comparable to similar restaurants in our area, & one thing I can say is that we are nowhere close to Michelin 3-Star prices.. I hope you will come back and give us another look. Wonderful evening with dear friends. As far as the wine,we discovered some new favorites. Enjoyed delicious food and the ambiance was upscale yet cozy!
