Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a 50-cover modern European restaurant and counter bar located in leading gallery and arts organisation Studio Voltaire.

The kitchen, lead by Michael Miles, delivers classic and seasonal menus showcasing the best produce of the British Isles from small-scale and independent producers. Expect modern takes on European and British classics, fresh pastas, charcoal-grilled meat and fish, seasonal vegetables, and comforting desserts.

Alongside an array of sustainable tap wines each season’s wine list will bring a focus to 4 different winemakers, celebrating their individual stories. The wine programme will also include wine tastings and winemaker dinners.

Located a few minutes from Clapham Common station this multi-use venue has event capacity up to 400 people standing or up to 200 people seated, plus a garden terrace.

Crispin Events offers catering services for seated dining, weddings receptions and dinners, working lunches and canapé and drinks parties.

Superb food, experience and value. We sat at the counter for a tasting menu and had several glasses of wine from the taps. Extremely good across every course - including the Guinness soda bread and butter!

An absolute culinary pleasure! The food alone is worth the visit, but what truly elevates the experience is the wonderful, caring, attentive, and fun team that makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is beautifully designed, creating the perfect setting. Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a nice restaurant in a lovely space with a very short menu. Unfortunately when we arrived at our booked table most of the menu was already sold out forcing one of us to have only fries as he could not really eat anything else. The food I had was good but I obviously felt rather embarrassed by the situation as I picked the restaurant and invited friends for my birthday lunch there. The bill in the end was definitely more expensive that it should have been and I think it was mostly affected by the fact the cheapest house white wine on offer is more than £40. I would strongly recommend to include at least one cheaper option.

Excellent meal and reasonable price for the quality. Service was excellent too. Highlights from the menu where the Brussels sprouts and the pork chop.
