   We had a reserved spot at the bar, with the comfiest bar stools in town! Our service and food were amazing… A perfect place to start our evening! There is ample parking across the street, and we could walk to the Taft! Bonus

   First time there after hearing great reviews. I only hold back a 5 star review until we go back to dive deeper into the menu. But we will go back!

   They have a tight menu that hasn't changed since they opened. The Friday pastrami special is ok but not at the highest price point of all there items.

   We love coming to Crown Republic. We were disappointed in the menu changes. The pork no longer has cabbage or spatzel and the meat for the burger is different! We rave about the burger to everyone we know and if this stays the same, we won’t be doing that. Service was wonderful as always!

   The food was excellent BUT the NOISE was RIDICULOUS So loud the server misunderstood my order and I received the crispy potatoes and fries (double starch) when I shld have had a side salad I cld not even hear my conversation with my son We were inclined to leave but had the reservation and drove from Mason to spend brunch together Also the 20% automatic service charge and the suggested 20% tip calculated on top of the 20% service and tax It shld be the discretion of the consumer to choose And generally as a customer we tip very general but when we are forced to do it the tip will not reflect the same One last comment, I intentionally changed the reservation time to be able to get standard table seating and even though I reserved that we were sat at a high top, again disappointed Yes we cld have just left but due to the travel and the late lunch hour we stayed Very hesitant to return

    I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, but haven’t gotten around to going. Now that I’ve went, I will 100% go back! Their crispy broccoli and seasonal pasta, which was a black truffle cream sauce, were just about to die for.
