Located on the expansive grounds of the Water’s Edge Resort and Spa sits a beautiful restaurant with magnificent ocean views, Dattilo Fine Italian, the jewel of the Connecticut shoreline. The cuisine is fresh, creative and bold, with flavors reminiscent of old-world Italy. A rich authentic menu pairs with our extensive wine list features wines from across the globe. In addition to the seasonal menu Dattilo also offers nightly dining specials and themed dinners. Each Sunday we end the weekend with one of the finest Brunches in Connecticut featuring carving, pasta, crepe, and omelet stations. The brunch theme changes each week offering a new variety of fare to experience.

Dinner and drinks were delicious. The service was great. It's always a nice time at Waters Edge and and having a great restaurant in the resort is wonderful!

First time at the buffet. Overall the selection and quality of food was very good. However, some of the items from the heated serving trays were lukewarm. The selection of desserts was mainly of bite-sized cakes and pumpkin pie. Coffee served at our table was consistently lukewarm. Mimosas were very good. We would return for another visit.

We went for brunch and we loved it. Best brunch around, they have so many different foods. It’s hard too choose because no way can you try everything. Have been there quiet a few times and have never been disappointed. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and more!

We have a nice dinner. This is our third time there. Our server was great. Our steaks were under cooked to our liking but the server took care of it. They had music there starting at 9pm which was nice.

Excellent food. A little too sunny in the main dining room. Needs shades. It was so hot and blinding. When I go again, I will ask to be seated elsewhere even though the ambience is really nice in the main room. Service was excellent.
