   Started with amazing coconut mojito. Potstickers were excellent. Had the scallops special with amazing gastrique with cranberries. Service was excellent as well

   Fantastic pizza and gluten free pizza - best in New England. No gluten issues. Beef tenderloin done to perfection. Attentive wait staff - flawless.

   David's was an AMAZING restaurant! We come to Portland for business and for mini getaways. Been coming for 20+ years but this is first time at David's. Best food in the city. I'll take my customers here over DeMillo's from now on. Food was Michelin Star worthy. Restaurant ambience was wonderful. Flavors breathtaking. The only drawback is the homeless folks on Monument were a little cranky and hostile yesterday. Other than that - David's is a Perfect 10. Sean - Andover MA

   Service was attentive, polite and friendly, no pressure. The food was delicious, portion size appropriate, and priced well. Great atmosphere for a Friday business lunch.

    My first time dining at David’s Monument Square- a most enjoyable experience! They allowed us to get our table right away even though we were 15 minutes early. Service was prompt despite how crowded the restaurant was. At the recommendation of my dinner companion I ordered the meatloaf. Despite the fact that it sounds like an ordinary meal to order in a lovely restaurant, it was in fact one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten, so tender that it practically melted in my mouth. I would go back to David’s again just to order the meatloaf. My only (minor) complaint is that the noise level was uncomfortably high. Not a major distraction to my dining experience, however. I would definitely recommend David’s!
