Our waiter was extraordinary! He made suggestions that ranged from cocktail variations thru to dessert. ALL WERE PERFECT! I whole heartedly recommend Dawson’s abs will be eating here again the next time I stay in sacramento. BRAVO!

We were attending a theater performance that evening and weren't particularly hungry. They had some interesting salads on the menu that we ordered and added grilled chicken on top. With the complementary rustic bread, the meals were perfect. It is also great that with valet parking and a ticket validated from the restaurant, it only cost five dollars for six hours of parking!

Ambiance was nice although noisier than I expected. Service was great. My wife got the filet and it was cooked to perfection. My fish (mahi mahi) was overcooked to the point of being mushy. We also got the Brussels sprouts which were disappointing as they weren’t well cooked. Drinks and dessert were tasty.

We have always loved Dawson’s but have to mention the fact that the prices have risen along with our current economy, making it difficult to bring a family group without spending a huge chunk of money. Love the ambiance, a new waiter to us was very good and food as usual was great…. It was just our wallet that felt the pinch! Probably will go when it’s just the two of us moving forward.

Such a nice venue and so close to the Safe Credit Union theater. Lovely menu with lots of seasonal choices. Excellent service.
