We are a neighbourhood restaurant in Surry Hills with a great bar and a lovely team.
Our menu is dedicated to Australian produce, wine, beer & cocktails, opening every evening and for a lazy long lunch over the weekend.

We are located in a heritage townhouse just off Taylor Square at the axis of Paddington, Darlinghurst and Surry Hills with comfortable counter-top dining, a garden terrace, an intimate dining room, and a newly renovated private dining room.

We are thrilled to have one of Australia’s most experienced chefs, Mark Archer (previously Becassè, Tomislav, & Fix Wine Bar) heading up our kitchen. Together our goal is to champion the exceptional ingredients of this great continent through a changeable menu of sharing plates.

Our kitchen stays open throughout the day and late into every evening.

The dishes that we ordered which was tomato carpacchio, steak, lamb cigar and tuna were all quite poor and small portions, the steak was chewy, lamb lacked flavour and tomatoe carpaccio was 25 dollars for a plate of sliced tomatoes, overall not good value for money. They had good wine and friendly staff, but would not be running back.

My friend and I had the $85 banquet and every dish was so delicious. Dessert portion was excellent. We both commented on how unusual it was that we could actually hear each talking for once. It was a delightful evening. Thank you.

The restaurant had a nice warm feeling which made you feel comfortable straight away, the staff were very attentive and helped where they could with dieters. Cocktails were fun and some finished at the table which was a nice touch. The food offering was well balanced and Affordable whilst the quality of the food was very good
