   The Mallory family absolutely loves Del Porto, and we feel that JW is amazing! My wife and I went to dinner at the restaurant a few weeks back, when we were on our way to vacation in the Caribbean, and we had a layover at Newark Airport. Upon entering, we were confident we would get a good meal, just based upon the other Open Table reviews, but we had no idea what else we would get. We are a family of Soorano lovers, and once JW was kind enough to educate us on the background of the restaurant and its deep history, the evening took on a whole new level of enjoyment. JW was an amazing personality who provided us with outstanding service. So, when we were about to leave, we told him that our son was getting married the end of May, and would be going to the same resort in Sint Maarten, thus taking the same flight path. We just had to send them back to Del Porto as well. We planned accordingly, and the kids came back to the restaurant to dine on June 1st, and thankfully JW did not disappoint once again. We are now a family of Del Porto lovers, and we will be sure to come back every time we come through Jersey. Thank you for everything, and don’t change a thing, the restaurant and the service are truly something special. All the best!

   Order the calamari! Best I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional- staff were constantly checking on us to make sure everything was great. Felt like family the first time we were there. You can tell that these guys care about their customers’ experience. The vibe is very fun, local, more yummy pasta than you can possibly eat!

   What a magnificent find. My wife and I had a fantastic meal. Our server Niko was amazing. We split the meatball appetizer. Delicious! We followed that up with pasta dishes. I had the spaghetti carbonara and my wife had the beef ragu. Both were outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!

   Prices increased for Mothers Day prefix. Charged $75 for an app and entree and no dessert! Normally would have been around $15-20 cheaper during normal service. Also $25 prefix for kids for an entree and dessert. All kids meals are $16 so they charged $9 for a small kids scoop of ice cream. Service was horrible. Multiple people complaining. Food waits were horrible. Wouldn’t go back!

   Take my experience with a grain of salt. I reserved a table for Mother’s Day and originally I planned on dining outside but at the present moment only inside seating was available. The staff was amazing in letting us know there would be a table in five minutes and accommodated our wishes. My only shock was the pricing. It is $75 per plate for EVERY plate available and some are +25 depending on what you are ordering. On google it said it was 20-30 a plate so I’m just spreading that information. For pricing alone, unfortunately I had to walk out of the restaurant.

   A really great dining experience. Nick and Cheech treat everyone like family. Our server, JW was on top of his game. Food and drinks arrived as ordered, dietary requests were honored, the table was crumbed and tended to throughout the evening. There is a lot of positive energy in the dining room, and outside with an al fresco courtyard, which is landscaped beautifully. Their valet parking is great considering the street parking is limited.

    We had a wonderful experience at Del Porto. Delicious food, great drinks, & the best service. We will let everyone know they have to try this restaurant. We will definitely be back soon!! I highly recommend it!!
