The restaurant was packed to capacity and we were seated on the patio. There were clearly too many patrons for the kitchen to handle. One appetizer simply failed to ever make it out of the kitchen and the "famous" lasagne looked wonderful but was served lukewarm. We skipped dessert because it had already taken so long to get our dinner orders. I really wanted to like it but we will not be back.

The food was very good but the service was not! We were advised by the waitress when she first came by that it was a NY style italian restaurant with old family recipes and that all dishes were made to order and because of that it takes time to prepare the food. The reality is that the kitchen is too small to prepare the food in a reasonable amount of time for all the tables they have inside and outside the restaurant. If everything is made to order why after waiting 45 minutes for our entrees after the salad was the pasta side on my plate cold. Both the waitess and manager explained their system for putting in orders, but I can tell you their "system" doesn't work. No apologies, no offer of a complimentary glass of wine or can I make it up to you with dessert on the house for your long wait. A small gesture goes a long way. These people acted like they were the only Italian restaurant in Scottsdale and because of that I will not be going back.

We just had our first meal at Dimaggio’s. We had the Arricini and Clams Orregensto as appetizers and my wife and I shared the Alfredo Diablo. It was all delicious. The dining room is cozy and vibrant with a big city vibe to it.. The bread was homemade and also delicious. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Watching the chef make amazing fresh mozzarella balls was entertaining. The service was excellent and the food was superb. The veal picotta was the best I’ve ever had. Lasagna was a rare delight. The chef stopped at each table to say hello. They are doing it right!

Just the best meal. Awesome service. We keep taking new friends every week. Everyone loves it. Feels like eating in a great NYC Italian joint. Food is always outstanding. Treat you like family .....or better than family!!

Quaint spot with incredible food. Sat at the bartender and the bartender was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable and great drinks. Food was fantastic. Get the cheesecake. 10 out of 10.

Quaint restaurant off Hayden Rd. Started with getting our seating wrong, reserved a high top, and tried to place us at a table infront of the main door and in the middle of the floor. Asked to be sat somewhere else and they accommodated us. Water and bread service were quick then we had to ask a bus boy for a waiter to be sent over after 10ish minutes The waitress was apologetic and very responsive and our drinks where ordered and delivered. Our appetizers were Arrnacini and Steamed Clams both we enjoyable Entrees were disappointing. The house special Lasangna was very odd to me. The portion size was huge, the meat sauce flavorful, and the pasta noodles were straight mush. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 The special was steak and fettuccine noodles in a marala sauce. The description was a Waygu level steak. It was plain and chewy. The pasta and sauce were ok. We finished with Cheescake, which was the best food we had alnight. A mixed experience for sure.
