   Iv wanted to come to this restaurant for a long time and was extremely disappointed. Service was super slow and food was very sub par. I sadly would not recommend dining here.

   I booked a table for two at Dockside Restaurant to celebrate my graduation day. Unfortunately, the experience started off a bit rocky — there was no real acknowledgment from the host, who seemed underdressed and with poor communication skills for the venue. Thankfully, the second staff member who escorted us to our table was much more professional and polite, which helped shift the mood. Our server, Jason, really stood out — he was attentive, provided great recommendations, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. As for the food, it was decent but not particularly memorable. I ordered the clam chowder, which was more on the thin, broth-like side rather than the creamy texture I expected. My husband’s burger, however, was impressive — generous in size and well-presented. If I return, it would probably be for a casual lunch, and I’d definitely go for the burger. For a special occasion, though, I would likely choose somewhere else, as the overall experience and food didn’t quite deliver that extra touch. Price-wise, it’s about average for Vancouver — fair, but not exceptional given the quality.

   Overall very poor experience. I know what this place is capable of and it fell far short. Went for a family dinner, one of only several tables occupied. It took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, despite 3 other tables that were seated well after us and served first. One table had been seated, eaten and paid the bill before our food had even arrived. The food tasted good, but after a few bites of my seafood chowder I found spaghetti noodles mixed in with it. This raised some serious cross-contamination concerns. Very unhappy with the experience.

   Very busy due to a few big parties, but the staff did its best to keep us happy even though the bar and kitchen were slow.

    I had not been to the Dockside in a long time and was pleasantly surprised to see that the menu had many 'reasonably' priced items. My friend and I did take advantage of happy hour for some of our choices and they were delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and the noise level moderate. The restaurant seemed a bit understaffed and so service was a bit slow the evening we were there. However, we we definitely dine there again.
