The food was great. A band was playing and it was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation or even hear the waiter. I asked the waiter to ask the band to turn down the sound and there was no change. The manager came by and I asked again and again there was no change. I finally got up in the middle of a song and asked the band myself. They did reduce the sound level a little. They only have music every other Wednesday evening. I would never go there on a Wednesday again.

Nice vibe, reasonable wine, good food, just make sure to ask for food to be well done (salmon and burger were on the rare side). Service was lacking and price felt high for overall experience. But, it’s slim pickings around here so I’ll go back and give them another try!

Excellent food. Awesome service from Cathy and River. Birthday celebration went without a hitch. It was a fantastic experience. Definitely will be back.

This was our first time to Dos Olivos and we followed the next day for their 2nd Birthday celebration. The area needed a nice restaurant like this - good food and wine, very friendly service, and great atmosphere. The outdoors looks like it will be lovely when the weather cools. We'll be back!

Didn't feel like the elevated experience I was hoping for. Walked in and waited for the hostace to sit us for several minutes because she was getting waters for tables and answering other customer questions. As she asked us to follow her to get seated she was still helping tables as she made her way through with us behind her. Sat outside because it was noisy inside, there was a family with little kids and their noise echoed. The waiters where really young. The table next to us ask them about a couple of dishes and the server told him he's new so he did not know too much about them. I ordered a sweet tea thinking that it was homemade and I was brought out a bottled Texas sweet tea that I could buy at HEB. We also ordered a non-alcoholic sangria and it was also served in a bottle and it's a brand that I can buy anywhere. My takeaway is that if you are coming in with a large group to sit and drink wine then you will be taken care of but if you're looking for a quiet date night this will not be the place.

I was hesitant after reading other reviews, but decided to go there and give it a try, we were a party of 5. The food was excellent and we liked the shared plates concept. The service was also excellent. The restaurant was about 3/4 full and we had no problems with service or food delays. We will go there again.

We ate at Dos Olivos on Mother's Day and they must have very understaffed. Nobody greeted us when we entered. We stood there for 10 minutes until someone acknowledged us. We did get seated right away once we were greeted since we had a reservation. It seemed like the waiter had too many tables to take care of, but he was very attentive and helpful once he was able to focus on our table. The food took a long time to come out and it was cold. However, in the end our waiter made it right and had the kitchen remake everything so it was hot and ended up comping the cold meals from our check. I just think this restaurant wasn't ready for prime time on a Mother's Day rush. Will give it another chance.

Due to rainy weather it wasn’t too busy. Food and wine were fabulous. Simple on the outside but so cute when you go in. Will definitely go back.

Had Easter Brunch with the family here. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Nice employees, good service. Party of 5 was just over $100. Will definitely go back.
