When you claim that you’re adding a signature steakhouse experience, every detail has to be considered to transform you from the stresses of business and life.

The décor is modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance is sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff is educated, but not showy. The uniforms are unique, but classically tasteful.

Like the restaurant itself, the menu departs from a classic steakhouse without chasing away traditionalists. Categories range from classic steaks and chops to seafood – including lobster tail.

We said robust, right? Double Cut literally means so large that your jaw hits the table. Larger portions, tons of ambiance. There’s the dinner bell. Where’s that steak knife?

I was skeptical of trying the Double Cut after reading the previous reviews. I’m telling yall it was fantastic, the steak was fabulous the appetizer’s so yummy “Hanging Bacon” WOW. If yall are locals in round rock or Hutto give Double Cut a shot it was great.

It took a while before we got service , then the waitress was pretty good. For the price of the food it was not worth it. Not high quality food or taste. Very disappointed for my birthday dinner. Kids didn’t even like the Mac and cheese. They did bring me a bday cupcake which I appreciates. Won’t be coming back.

The prime rib was an uneven cook, we ordered it M Rare and it ranged from well to rare depending on which end of the steak you looked at. The sushi rolls, volcano and rainbow, were just okay. As well as all the other food. Ultimately the service and lackluster food is why I’d give the Double-Cut a 1-star. For the prices on the menu we were all disappointed.

We had an amazing time! It was my son’s 25th birthday dinner. Our waiter was on it. We had a table of 11. We all walked out completely satisfied!

Best steakhouse in Round Rock! Mark was very knowledgeable with the menu and knew a lot about Bourbon. He truly made our experience so unique and fun. We had the New York and the Ribeye and they we're cooked to perfection, shout out to the chef! We will be back

My wife had the filet, which was perfectly cooked medium, a little salty and way overpriced for having no sides. I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly but drowned in a lemon butter sauce, mainly butter. This also came with no sides, making it overpriced as well. The waiter was very nice but the food took a while to come out and the mushrooms we ordered for the side were a bit cold.
